The natural and spiritual don't mix ...our problem is, we try to have the best of both world. It can never work...will never bring joy and peace, but confusion of soul.

That is not what God says. 1 Cor 11:19 " For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." That is why diamonds or displayed on a black background, never upon white. Heresies will be with us to the end. They should not make us...

Yep...that is what it says... ....but, I need more thoughts here...for me to comment upon. :)

I set before you a sweet but deadly ice cream...and also a healthy mix of veggies...you can pick one or the other, not both...the test to see IF you will choose that which will bring you life or death. Your choice...

Yep, I second that. :) I know we have had similar threads...but not worded with the word "need" within it. Most times the Sovereignty v Freewill threads go well. :)

I would be the head of it. But, that said...it could not be "seen in the East".. If I bumped into someone from the company in the elevator , they would not know that I was "over them, or their head". Looking forward to see what you make of 'the Star....' ....later...H

Very true. God did not commend Paul/Saul for his slaughter of those that Saul thought were in error. What He said was- " Saul, Saul, why do you persecute ME"

I really don't think that whatever 'they' call the name of anything...it is all coming down... Until mankind sees that the only treasure and value is God Himself...isn't it all just another Babel? Built by man, maintained by man...man looking for security on this earth...yet nothing is secure...

True "HIS" star, which means His sign does it not? But, keep going...you obviously have more thoughts here than you are sharing yet.

Can one be OVER without being above? A mother stand over her sleeping child...she looks down on him...so she must be looking down, from above , right? Keep going .... :)

ScottA said- Eternity comes when time has served its purpose. @bbyrd009 ah, and what purpose is that? To demonstrate sin? Is that the gist? Time is just "for the test"....like the t.i.m.e. spent in the wilderness...God said it was to test them to see what was in their hearts, to see if they...

I guess because it is like looking for fish in water as that is where they are found! It says " It appeared in the east" It also says " it stood over the place where He lay." ... that speaks of UP! :) But you have written a teaser...and I would like to see you write the rest.lol...

This is the reason @Stranger ( forgive me if it was not you..it may have been @michaelvpardo ) who challenged me when I said in the Absolute Truth thread..that it ( Bible) is only truth when it is not interpreted by man! Or when man does not start telling other men "what it means". Because...

Thanks Deborah. Another good interesting post. I must try and find that. Good to see you, it has been 'a while'. :)

Thanks John. We ( Dave and I ) too believe that the blood of Adam was light/white. ( in his pre sin state) there is a relation between light and blood...blood being a lower form of light. I remember hearing a word shared which we then took as 'our own' position. Being that - when the Holy...

Excellent...thanks for that.

Amen...agree. Much of what is said to be 'the gospel' is far from Good News...but very much bad, negative news.

@aspen ...no I do not believe humans are transitioning to a state of perfection. " Some" believe that somehow we are getting better and better. It may seem that way as we become deader and deader to the outer self. The only perfection is for us to be hidden in Christ..The Perfect One.

Yes I agree with you. The flesh/human will never become perfected. Well said indeed. Good post.

@Frank Lee I am mixed about this...I'm kind of 50/50 on it. I always remember " Woe unto him who calls evil good and good for evil." I don't know enough about it all to make a clear judgement or discern clearly. Let us know if you hear any more on it. :)
