Types and shadows versus Reality. Is the New creation discernable by physical senses? Give God the glory!

And all of us who are seeing Him and keeping our eyes on Him are walking on water! If we are not sinking, is He not manifesting Himself to us?

And what is the house in these verses? "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:" II...

"And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living." Gen 3:20 "And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things." Gen 24:1 "And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is...

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" Psalm 118:24

The problem I suppose with Saul/Paul is that we may have seen that he is a man, who really... like all of the rest of us came up short in his own walk with God. Not everyone has seen or admits that! Only Jesus walked as a man always sinless. Paul became as a Jew to gain them. How far should we...

And so it is to be? Job 19:20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth. Escaped by doing what? What is the minimum required by God? Is it not the impossible for someone without the Holy Spirit or for someone with the Holy Spirit who regularly and...

Amen! 'Gideon's Trumpet' [only peripherally related to the book by that name] is blowing again with the more certain sound from God. "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created...

I certainly agree that following our unchanged self-led heart alone is not good advice. However, when and if our heart is led by the Holy Spirit, we will not go wrong! The problem with every person who has not yet completely overcome the world as Jesus did, is that even if they have received the...
