What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

The Church is CHRIST (Acts 9:4-5, Eph. 1:22-23), and He is infallible . . .

    Should I be rebaptised?

    Now, there's an "intelligent" response . . .

    Should I be rebaptised?

No - you're just "weary" of getting caught in so many LIES and being exposed. As I said earlier - I almost ALWAYS refer to the Latin Rite, the "Latin/Roman" or the "Roman/Latin" Rite.

What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

The signed document from Hippo was sent to the Church at ROME for approval. Whether or not it was also sent to Bishops in other locations is irrelevant. As for my single use of wikipedia - I already told you it was simply to show an objective secular source. You're simply using it as a...

What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

There were multiple canons (lists) of Scripture in the Early Church. MOST included Books that are now considered "Apocrypha" and others were incomplete. It took the Church to infallibly declare the Canon under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 16:12-15).

What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

The Canon of Scripture declared at the Councils of Rome (382), Hippo (393) and Carthage (397) were DOCTRINAL decrees. You are conflating a Doctrinal matter with a Dogmatic one. Of course the Canon wouldn't be declared a matter of DOGMA until it was closed. THAT'S why the dogmatic decree at...

What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

First of all - I referenced an objective, SECULAR source like wikipedia simply to show that I wasn't getting all of my information from Catholic sources - which you seem to have a problem with. I can use Catholic sources exclusively, if you prefer . . . Secondly - even if you reject the...

    Should I be rebaptised?

WRONG. Paul was instructed DIRECTLY by Christ Himself (Gal. 1:12). Whereas, he may have also incorporated the Torah to teach - his instruction was ORAL. - hence, his stressing the importance of ORAL teaching and Tradition (2 Thess. 2:15, 2 Thess. 3:6, 2 Tim. 2:2, 1 Cor. 11:2, 2 Tim. 1:12-14)...

    Should I be rebaptised?

Then, PLEASE show me in your infinite wisdom what "ekklesia kata holos" means when translated to English. Here is the phrase in Greek: εκκλησια καθ ολης Here is how Strong's defines it Εκκλησια (ekklesia) - A gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public place, an...

    Should I be rebaptised?

In MOST of my debates on this forum regarding the various Liturgical Rites that make up the Catholic Church - I almost ALWAYS refer to the Latin/Roman Rite. You're just angry because you've LOST this argument. I warned you not to come to this discussion with your usual ignorance. Do your...

Mary had more children than Jesus

WRONG. NOBODY has children by the power of Mankind. It's ALL done by the power of God. The Bible simply doesn't tell us about Mary having any other children. The "Adelphoi" of Jesus that you mentioned are said to be the children of another Mary standing near the cross with Mary, Mother of...

Mary had more children than Jesus

TRY me. I will read ANYTHING you have to offer and will give it a chance. Why are you so afraid to bring your "evidence" to the table?? It SHOULD speak for itself, right??
  13. BreadOfLife

What's with this thing called THE APOCRYPHA?

WRONG. The Books of the Old and New Testaments were canonized at the Councils of Rome, Hippo and Carthage at the end of the 4th century. All Trent did was CLOSE the Canon that already existed for 1200 years before that. Secondly, as I stated earlier – in Jerome’s OWN words – he did NOT reject...

Mary had more children than Jesus

So, you have NO Scriptural evidence. Why didn't you just admit that from the beginning?? We could have avoided 4 pages of arguments . . .

    Should I be rebaptised?

I've been telling you for the last several hundred posts that the Liturgical Rite is Latin/Roman. I have never NOT admitted this. What I have corrected you on is your idiotic notion that the CHURCH is Roman. This would exclude ALL of the pother Liturgical rites of the Catholic Church...
  16. BreadOfLife

    Should I be rebaptised?

WRONG again. In your ignorance - you believe that the Bible was written in English - it wasn't. I have shown you no less than THREE times the Greek words that make up the term "Catholic Church" (Ekklesia kata holos). YOUR rejection of this Biblical fact doesn't "nullify" it ONE BIT. It only...
  17. BreadOfLife

    Should I be rebaptised?

That's not the point. The point is that they were ORAL TRADITIONS that our Lord and His followers practiced. Besides - 2 Thess 2:15 doesn't tell us WHICH Traditions Paul is talking about. He simply states that the Church is to HOLD FAST to them.
  18. BreadOfLife

Mary had more children than Jesus

Then remind me. Show me the verses. The fact is that you can't because NOBODY has presented any.
  19. BreadOfLife

    Should I be rebaptised?

Perhaps if you weren't so ignorant, you would understand that the Latin IS Roman. You see - THIS is what epostle said that you had a comic book understanding of the Church history . . .
  20. BreadOfLife

    Should I be rebaptised?

Acts 9:31 absolutely contains the words "Ekklesia Kata Holos" (Catholic Church). Any First year Greek student can see that. NOT my problem is you can't accept that linguistic fact . . . As for DOZEN or so examples of Oral Tradition I presented - it's your ignorance and incredible stubbornness...
