You say he was talking to the scattered remnant of Israel which I never denied. You failed to directly address or respond to my request for clarification. If I was wrong then should we, being part of the Church, who are not directly descended by physical blood from Jacob/Israel set aside that...

More than this Jesus was letting people know that at that time he did not have a place to rest. As he told us in Matt 11:28 he had a place for us to rest, but until the Body of Christ was ready, Jesus was a Head without a body. Many people today who claim to be followers of the Lord provide no...

I agree that there really is only one Church with Jesus as the Head. We likely will disagree on what that Church is. Who is today sitting in Moses' seat? Who is a Levite or a son of Aaron among us? Who even is among the natural descendants of Jacob/Israel? Who led Israel after the death of...

The 'genesis', as you put it, is found in people throughout the written scriptures and in the written histories of men as well as in the news media and our personal experiences with men today. It is the nature of the beast of any men acting without God. The Protestant Reformation occurred...

Without having at this moment read every verse to which you show as sources, I presume that you find support in them for your beliefs or the beliefs of your church. So do I find support in many scriptures for what I believe, or if I did not, I hope that I would change. You have not however...

I only just saw this. I am praying now for you and your situation in God. He is able in every situation according to His will. I break in here because your mention of Kathryn Kuhlman reminds me again of our lost member here @Willie T He did not dwell on it but he did mention that she, Kathryn...

Is the the apostle the one sent by God to men? What of the other four ministers listed in Eph 4:11 as being given by God? Were they not sent? What of the angels, the messengers, both heavenly and earthly sent by God? Were not messengers sent? I don't agree that only apostles have authority to...

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I really appreciate what you have presented.

And a good clear response by you. Thank you! The double honor is due to those who "rule well". I remember some places in my own experience where they often had potluck dinners at the end of a fellowship service and automatically the pastor or minister in charge of the local assembly would ask...

Who were the successors of the Israelites? Who are the Israelites today? Who are the brothers, mothers and sisters of Jesus? "But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my...

"And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Matt 8:20 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the...

"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:32-33 No, they are not God, nor are you, nor am I. We do...

Don't leave out the critical phrase, "in my name"! It is, I believe, being in His name that assures us that Jesus is also in the gathering. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt 18:20 A gathering without Jesus is certainly only...

Was he talking to the natural children of Jacob/Israel alone? Then please clarify for us the meaning of the following verses in accord with your conclusion. Thank you in advance! "Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and...

What has been for a long time a creeping worldliness in churches and members is now it seems shifting into a higher gear. But...the adversary is coming up against an opponent that he does not know and cannot defeat. In his blindness he will continue in his efforts. "But if it be of God, ye...

Frequently your two cents is worth considerably more than that!

Help us and them dear Lord!

There is Life according to God and there is what men call life. They are not the same. Every man born to woman, I believe, is born dead in the eyes of God. This only changes if a person receives the Life that Jesus brought. Many people never receive that Life, but walk around as if they were...

One thing that got my attention years ago was this verse: "Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure." I Tim 5:22 Consider that verse in conjunction with this one: "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not...

This is where for me praying in "unknown" tongues is an answer. How can a person pray for God's will when it means that a loved one will die? It may at the time be a selfish prayer, praying for more time for a loved one, but for anyone who has loved anyone who has died, it is certainly...
