The idea was posted by a friend as we see here: @bbyrd009 bbyrd009 said: ↑ what does 'saved' even mean?" might be another interesting avenue Some perhaps already have an idea as to where I am on this in the moment. I may allow a few to post before I get my feet wet... As an aside: These...

"For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and...

Well it is you who chooses what you do here, my friend. Hopefully you are talking to Him each day and listening to Him as one of His sheep that hears and listens. Give God the glory!

I did not want to miss addressing your OP, but by the time I got here a lot had already happened. Was any of it good? My main changing events in God occurred in 1976, 1987 and 2002 and none of them directly involved Internet forums. The last one was impacted by people on a forum, but that was...

Do you really believe that is what I am doing? Do you know the mind and will of God so well that you may correct every person who disagrees with what you believe by making such a statement? Remember this conversation between Job and God? "Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said, Shall he that...

Do you also doubt Jesus when you simply read in a book, the Bible, what he accomplished by the power of God? People don't do the healing you are doubting. When it is actually done, and in His time it most certainly is, God does it. You doubt Him but would you also claim to be His child? "Ye do...

This my friend is tempting God! God can certainly heal any person of any problem, but He does not do that to satisfy mockers or doubters: "But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the...

"...According to your faith be it unto you." Matt 9:29 What you don't believe is your lack of faith in God... or your negative faith. Among unbelievers that would not be surprising, but it seems like there's lots of that in places which name themselves churches today.

When the devil quoted part of the 91st Psalm at Jesus, the Lord told him this: "...It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Matt 4:7 Healing the blind is accomplished every time a person comes to God and sees the Truth, which is Jesus. Pressing for someone to perform what...

Paul did, but how many here do? The authority of God is here among us. It is available to whosoever will, but how many will express their unbelief that the power of God can overcome the sin in a person before he dies physically? Their lack of faith in His ability to do is effectively calling...

Have you ever considered how many different gifts of tongues from God there might be? "To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:" I Cor 12:10 Some years ago I...

That is one of those strange words people use on forums that I had never heard before. You say it is important, but if a person is not led and taught by the Holy Spirit, it is certainly worthless, right? "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall...

I guess you were just never in the right places. My wife would hear a message in tongues and then give the interpretation in English which often included scriptural quotations. I knew she was not faking it because I knew how much scripture she knew. Don't misunderstand, she loved and does love...

Praying now especially for Helen and Dave but also for the widow and other family affected by this loss.

Why is it that some physical babies never reach adulthood? There is always a difference between the type or shadow and the Reality!

My 10 years of wandering ended 18 years ago. There are many reasons why I wandered for those years and God knows them all. He has shared many, if not most or all, of them with me. Please don't insist on pursuing some kind of a debate with me. You are effectively questioning my testimony much...

Perhaps none of us should be out unnecessarily but sometimes there is no alternative. If everyone had everyone else in front of themselves always, there would probably not be a pandemic. Of course in that case we would also all be always on the Lord's side and heaven would be our home now! Give...

Without getting into any details of a 2nd coming, consider that we are the gold in need of purifying or cleansing. Perhaps the born again [from above] baby still covered with fluids as it exited the mother needed to be cleansed. We can simply wash the new born natural child with warm water. The...

Sorry but I could not help myself. @Philip James said "Which is it?" and you responded with "What is 'it'?" The word, manna, the bread God dropped from the sky to feed the children of Israel in the wilderness means, "What is it?". Below are couple of verses showing when the manna was first...

No, I am not offended but neither can I accept what you wrote on this... nor am I inclined to enter into a debate against something you believe. I thank you for sharing this and for your good intentions. May God richly bless you as you listen to and obey His voice. Each day I follow my Lord...
