My goodness Bill, It's a simple concept. §And you owe me a reply .... been waiting on it. Your friends family,,,never having spoken of God, were probably not saved. NOT ONLY CHRISTIANS ARE GOING TO HEAVEN. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus is GOD. God Father and God Jesus...

I also make a point of this. America is a concept U.S. is a place.

You're smart. This is exactly how it is. Socialism reigns supreme here. Italy is trying to change and the right seems to be strong right now -- but it's a long story and there's never really someone that knows how to rule for the benefit of the country -- just like you said. With vegetables...

I wonder when @Grailhunter was in Italy. It might have been socialistic in nature when he was there. No more fascists....

I thought the same... I think it's time we started to encourage each other. If someone KNOWS GOD and does good deeds,,,,it seems they don't need scripture. However, the verse posted was correct and it never hurts to post scripture.

Declared by the Council of a cult religion. You could not like Catholicism C,,,even though Jesus said the world will know His disciples because they love one another.... However, You CANNOT say that Catholicism is a cult. It really serves no one to speak lies about the church that created the...

But But What if I want to come visit?

LOL 1. No real estate tax. 2. Room for improvement 3. No one to bother you. what else?

:(

Colossians 2:11 seems to be saying what I posted just above. We are not saved by a bodily circumcision....just because Abraham was someone's father does not mean that person is saved... We are saved by a spiritual circumcision of the heart...faith...as in the O.T. Ezekiel 36:26 Mathew 3:9

Wasn't man always saved by faith? Even in the O.T..... The law was given for a few reasons... NO ONE is saved by following the law of Moses or of man. Only by faith and following the law of God...the 10 Commandments...and the two which Jesus left us with, which cover everything.

Very nice post. Lots of work involved. Only One God. Only One Gospel.

Oh. Wow. Sounds like there's a story behind that.

What's a sub?

We all slip. 1 John 1 addresses this. He said to do what you do. Looking forward to your posts.

Well, to my knowledge the catholic church put together the bible in about the 400's..maybe earlier. The letters and gospels had been circulating but they were not all together in one book,,,the N.T. Will be checking out post 27 and 40. This is all a matter of history.

Forgot to pay your exhorbitant taxes?

@Rollo Tamasi Perhaps you'd care to see my winter home in the Rockies?

@Rollo Tamasi I think the couch killed her. Here's my speed:

Hi JohnPaul Welcome to the forum. It's good to try to be good and to do good. The N.T. tells us this is what God wants. As long as you have God in your heart, the doing good is great.
