There are certainly some false things set forth by some to be of God, but then again there are the real and true things that really are of God? We should be very slow to generalize like that. One case at a time as we have the need and as God talks to us about something. God does talk to people...

About 18 years ago, I began reading my Bibles out loud. I have never stopped. I don't do it only when I am reading around others and it might disturb them. I always do it when I am alone doing my normal daily reading, study and spending personal time with God. It also had made a big difference...

I did watch the video and I was favorably impressed, but as I said somewhere before that makes no difference in whether I believe in God and His Son or not. It does not even change much in the details of what I do or do not believe. Only God gives any of us a real increase. If I were not...

Well you stand strong with God and He will not fail you even though at times it may get rough. I know that you already know what I mean. Give God the glory!

I have imagined that all alone scenario in this carnal world of men and it is repulsive. When I was very young and not serving God I was like that for too long of a time. When I met my wife back in 1971 I looked forward, but did not even know what I really needed to be anticipating. I had...

Perhaps the worst gods are the ones hidden within the camp: "And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold...

Perhaps you are misunderstanding what is meant by the word, hearing... It is not speaking the ability of the physical ears on the sides of our physical heads to catch sound vibrations in the air for brain to understand them. A totally deaf person can hear God. Consider the words spoke by Jesus...

"Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21

Where Jesus and the Holy Ghost are! "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Col 1:27 "Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ...

"I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he...

"And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation." Luke...

And just exactly where is heaven? Jesus was in heaven while he was walking on planet Earth, was he not? "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." John 3:13 So then since we are supposed to be becoming like Him, are not...

Yes, vexed like that righteous man Lot: "And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds" II Peter 2:7-8

"Where there is no vision, the people perish:...: Prov. 29:18 Without vision they walk into a ditch all by themselves as surely as when they follow some blind preacher or teacher.

I don't know about any "rhyming noise" but for a great many years now talking to God in "tongues", the gift that is, has been a part of my daily connection with Him. He has given me too much over the years to cast it aside because others do not have the same gift and/or doubt that I do. My faith...

Must one be a teacher sent from God in order to believe what he believes? Is not every believer in God and His Son living by faith, which is the substance of things hoped and the evidence of things not seen? This last is so whether a person is a called teacher or not.

With my last vehicle when I was driving more out alone I would pop a CD of the Bible into the player and listen. Two things happened. One was not long after our car was stolen we got a new car. I assumed it would have a CD player in it as standard equipment, but I was wrong. Someday I might get...

Keep striving toward and surrendering to our Father. Give God the glory!

Where would you be looking? Jesus speaks about the kingdom heaven in parables in Matthew chapter 13. It is a good chapter to read which will help you to see what heaven is. We certainly need them both. Talk to God about it. That chapter 13 in Matthew helps a lot, but learn to stand with God...

Still developing your own set of rules and using only the written words from scripture which support your rules. A fiction writer who can do that well may be able to make a good living in this world that way, but with God you must find His Way and walk in it. You missed the turn a ways back and...
