OK but is that what I wondering or asking? Perhaps not! Maybe @Anthony D'Arienzo knows?

Was Jesus the one that did it? Where is that written?

So did Moses as I understand it.!

One minister of God who was in most ways a very good man and quite knowledgeable about the Bible once cracked a joke from the pulpit about kissing brothers as per scripture. That joke and his accompanying laugh diminished him in my mind at the time. He has been gone from this natural life for...

Even so! Consider perhaps that God scattered them and gave them different languages so that some, probably only a few, would not again be led forward by foolish leaders in similar foolish undertakings. Sometimes we have traveled so far away from the right road that we need to go back to the very...

I hear you loud and clear on this. I did not always agree with my old pastor... Still don't, but I have to love the man. He was by far the best of 8 pastors I sat under since 1976... actually striving to to be always as a "pastor" should be as I read the scriptures. He would never resign. He was...

Oh yes! I grew up in the USA but I remember hearing and reading a version of that story as a child. It has been many years since I have heard anyone mention it. I recall the punch line in effect was when after first the smallest goat and then the medium sized goat were each in turn forced to go...

I count his age as only 46 at the end. You are according to your profile 56. Just act like you did 10 years ago and that might just cover it very well!

You may be right with both definitions: 1) An "opposer" especially against me and my beliefs. 2) One who wants stir up without involvement or investment or risk to himself. Purpose? Anyone want to try for another... a third that is?

Something like that holy kiss greeting, huh?

Even so! Some use the word, troll, apparently knowing just what they mean, but I usually don't know what they mean and I usually don't ask unless it really somehow might make a difference to me and how I would or should react.

I am not wanting to get into that. I hear and leave it to you and anyone God wants to be in it. Give God the glory! I can only speak what I hear and follow Him always. Sometimes I am given an understanding for me alone. I have no doubt that God does this with others as well. What is...

Oh yes! My wife had already left some time before me. We were drawn by God to that assembly definitely but for an at the first unknown reason. We guessed it was due to one elderly widow who lived alone. We were wrong. It was for the pastor and his wife. We had been there for several years when...

You are, I would guess, speaking of a woman of God. In this I relate to my wife. On many things I strive to follow God myself, but since we came to the Lord together in 1976, we have changed 'churches' a number of times. Each time it was through my wife that God gave us the confirmation of the...

I understand. Less than two years ago, but well before the onset of this lockdown situation I had stopped belonging to and attending regularly one particular physical assembly [church] for reasons I won't go into here. Before that happened for many years I thought I needed to have such a place...

That was this? My answer would be, yes, by quenching the Spirit in him, which was the reason I posted that verse and asked my question. I believe that a Spirit filled person has now what Adam and Eve had then. "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his...

Well I wasn't there either, so I can only trust to what have heard or read. But that would be trusting in man, I guess... unless we had a revelation from God.

I always get a little confused when people use that word, troll, with regard to forums like this one. I have looked up the word several times, but it never sticks very well. My first understanding of a troll came the first time I read the Hobbit probably back in the 1960's. When the sun comes...

You speak of natural or physical disability, but all of us begin disabled, dead even to God and the things of God, but then if we have seen the Light and followed it, does not an enabling process begin so that we can be like Him?

Breaking your mold comes back to that 'bottom starting' or proceeding also first to the lowest room. People often like to stay as high as they have been or higher. Consider what Jesus did as a man of flesh!
