Really? Care to show us where the Bible makes this claim?? In the entire history of mankind - God never pulls His people OUT of danger. They are ALWAYS in the midst of it. Even Noah wasn't pulled away from the danger. Noah and his family were "LEFT BEHIND". The Early Church suffered...

This is plain hogwash from a person who neither understands Scripture nor Jewish culture. As I explained - ANY part of a day is reckoned as a FULL day as we see in the story of Esther (Esth. 4:16, 5:1). I ALSO gave you the scholarly opinions of 2 of your most eminent Protestant scholars who...

Okay - then show me . . . Where does it say in Scripture to celebrate your birthday? Where does it say in Scripture to celebrate your wedding anniversary?? Where does it say in Scripture to celebrate graduating college?? Where does it say in Scripture to celebrate getting a new job?? Where does...

Not if He were crucified and buried on Friday afternoon, as He was. YOU stated: "The three nights that Jesus predicted in Matt 12:40 are counted by beginning with the night of the paschal dinner." The "three days" and "three nights" are not literal 24 hour periods in Jewish reckoning. The...

Your first and BIGGEST mistake (in RED) is your incredible arrogance, as usual. You just "can't understand" how YOU could be wrong. Well, if you knew Jewish culture and were familiar with texts like the story of Esther, Jesus's death on a Friday and Resurrection on a Sunday morning wouldn't...

Where was Esther's 3rd night, Einstein?? I already explained to you that ANY part of a day was reckoned as a FULL day. "3 days" and "3 nights" could be any part of 3 separate days - sundown to sundown.

Why the same, tired old idiocy every single year?? Why is it that 21st century people refuse to understand a Jewish culture from 2000 years ago - especially when they have the Bible to show them the way?? Jesus died on a Friday and rose on Sunday. 2000 years of Christians aren't "wrong" because...

The fact that you can't even get "Catholic" vs. "Roman Catholic" right shows me the depth of your ignorance . . .

Then try to stay honest. If you can't answer a question - simply admit it and move on.

Ignorant and unbiblical answer. YOUR mother is not the mother of your "humanity" only because YOU are a PERSON who has a body and a soul. Your mother have birth to a PERSON - not a body. Mary gave birth to the PERSON of Jesus - not just His body. With ALL of your unbelief - you will NEVER be...

Just keep it honest and stop running away from the questions and I won't bother you . . .

I simply showed - using the entire CONTEXT of the Burial narratives - that YOU were wrong and the CHURCH has been right for 2000 years. I warned you that cherry-picking verses just leads to the massive confusion that you've found yourself in . . .

More bitter double-speak from the loser of the argument. Ummmmmm, I think I'll take Strong's word for it - and not some ignorant, angry, anti-Catholic who doesn't know how to rightly divide Scripture . . .

No, your argument all along is that Jesus was NOT laid in the tomb until the day AFTER he died - and your argument has been soundly defeated . . .

Ummmmm, any 1st year Middle School student understands that the reason there are updated editions to textbooks is because new things have been learned about what is being taught in them. The study of linguistics is dynamic because NOBODY who is alive now was alive n the 1st century. I thought...

And since you're such a glutton for punishment and humiliation - I am happy to indulge you. Mark 15:34-37 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). When some of those standing near...

And you can wish and dream and LIE all you want - but the Day of Preparation for the Sabbath has ALWAYS been Friday. You LOSE because you LIE . . .

No - my Lord Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35). My handle on this forum is simply a tribute to HIM. Let me know when you're ready to have a grown-up discussion where you actually address the questions asked of you instead of being evasive and dishonest. Until then, however - I will...

And I wonder how long it will be before you finally admit that you are nothing more that an evasive and dishonest poster. You couldn't answer ONE of my questions, so you whined about me being "nasty" instead. Man up, markie . . .

You mean the "Catholic Church" - not the "Roman Catholic Church". I thought I already schooled you on the difference. One is the Church - the other is 1 of 20 Catholic Liturgical Rites. The Church has ALWAYS been the guardian of the Holy Deposit of the faith through Apostolic Succession. This...
