"Christian" Doctrines That Are Not Biblical

Dogmatism creates an environment whereby growth is stunted...and that stunting dogmatism is tenaciously held to as if it was the faith itself. The problem as I see it is that the bible is God-centered in it's logic but the interpreters are usually man-centered. The truth seems inconsistent but...

    Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus!

Belonging to a church does not make one a Christian any more than living in a stable makes one a horse.

    Faith without works is dead

Just how many other shots in the dark are you ready to make? LOL We go to different churches together. :)

Facts about the book of James

The bible interprets us. Those who think they have the market cornered on bible interpretation are deceived. So a divisive person will interpret the bible in a way that divides the brethren. God Himself will separate the sheep from the goats...that is best left to Him.

    Faith without works is dead

Those under grace establish the law because it is God fulfilling it through them. Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Mind of the Spirit / Mind of the Flesh

Yes! This life is a test to see what we will DO. Even our experiences and knowledge count for little if these do not lead to a godly CONDUCT. We will be judged by our "conductivity. " In other words how well do we transmit the truth we have heard into our lives. It may be interesting for some...

    What is faith?

Belief is blind...man can believe anything. But faith sees! Faith perceives the truth...intuits it. Then we have a choice to go with faith or not. Ususally someone who does have faith will at least go that route...that is until things get difficult. then it depends on character.

Facts about the book of James

I guess to some..facts are the same thing as truth...

    True Repententance

This is good but you are seeing salvation from sin as a future event. You know what Jesus did in the past and you have a hope for the future. What lacks is faith at the present time. Consider this.

Lawless Ones subverting the truth in Christ.

It is good news depending on what part of us is listening to it. The carnal old nature must die....THEN the new man is edified into a full stature in Christ. So you must go though the fire first. THEN comes life. To those who just want an easy feel good message that maintains their powerlessness...

Facts about the book of James

I know! ;) Ironically, Phinehas was awarded an eternal righteousness for putting to death those who were taking the grace thing too far in continuing in iniquity!!! Oh, the irony!!!

A Popular, Modern View of Righteousness

I have found that a significant percentage of church people are in a hypnotic state of mind conditioning due to a manipulative use of scriptures. When someone truly understands the meaning of the scriptures they can put it properly in other words. When they are brainwashed...they cannot. They...

    Faith without works is dead

You are wrong of course! :) I am an overseer in a Christian community and have been appointed by God as such.I have been a full time worker for the past 10 years or so. But this is not why I have the username Episkopos. I can't explain what God has shown me about the way He guides us and...

A Popular, Modern View of Righteousness

It is both really. Of course an immature Christian will not be able to handle abiding in holiness for very long. He will be pinching himself saying...this can't be happening. But over time and many tears we learn to stop looking at ourselves and the world around us and learn to look only to the...

Lawless Ones subverting the truth in Christ.

Greetings Dragonfly!! A Christian has entered a race according to the purpose of God. We must not forget that there still remains a God who has authored our salvation. We can't just claim the prize for ourselves while ignoring the conditions that God has laid out for those who would live with...
