    Seventh day Adventism

yes, it's very primary. It cannot get more primary.....the soul that sins will die. Did God need to qualify his words? I don't think so but he did add from dust you came, to dust you will return. Adam knew he was a living soul and what he was composed of, so did the entire watching universe...

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

Thank you historyb for your straightforward note. We all no doubt have views that we are persuaded are correct. I have not been banned nor my posts deleted because of my particular angle as I have found on other sites even pay sites. The fact that some of the participants can be cantankerous is...

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

in the last days demonic spirits will masquerade as God's Spirit. It is not blasphemy nor is it bordering on it to identify them.

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

like I said, I knew it wasn't real. The scripture that says, 'the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets' confirms this. One of the great deceptions of the last days is and will be is what is deemed spiritual phenomena. Understanding what comes from where has been laid out clearly...

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

My experiences and view concur with what you're saying Zephanyahu. In fact at one juncture in my journey I tried the babbling words without any encouragement to see what would happen. Sure enough, within a short period it just flowed as if automatic. I was quiet surprised but in myself I knew it...

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

ByGrace, a lot of fancy footwork is done when it comes to the law, particularly God's Law. To cut to the chase, The Law of Christ and the Ten Commandments are the same thing. If what is meant by the law of Moses is the Ten Commandments (and I'm assuming that's what you mean) there is a problem...

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

C'mon guys, surely a question of this nature being asked betrays spiritual immaturity if not a complete lack of spiritual growth!

    Deception

LOL ... Ok, i won't buy that tub of ice cream and I'll walk straight by the confectionary isle. That'll ensure at least a couple less exposures to deception. :)

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

Yes, we are free to ignore God's Law .....even if we think we are under Grace. If you want to covet, go right ahead, isn't it the general consensus!.....if you want to break faith and be friendly with that honey next door, why not, doesn't God want us to enjoy life?..... if you want to lie...

    Upping the ante

I think that those who have genuinely repented and taken the yoke of Jesus are not burdened. They rejoice when they see justice and righteousness. If there is any burden it is seeing the self sabotaging activity of both the world and hypocrites. As for herding cats, that may well be the case...

    SDA gone evolutionists!

Gerhard, your prejudice against SDA has blinded you to the point it has you manufacturing stories by deliberately misunderstanding.

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

This application of tongues is not for the public domain unless there is an interpreter but as i said in the previous post, check the account in Acts 2. I think it's self explanatory.

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

You need to check the account of the event you are commenting on. You'll find it in Acts 2. It tells us they were declaring the wonderful works of God. The context tells us it was the message of the death and resurrection of Jesus and the forgiveness of sins which they were sharing.

What is the "Abomination of Desolation"?

I wonder why Jesus never did that?
