I have the same problem when I get in a hurry, Helen. It is one reason I dislike using the laptop. Time usually passes very fast for me... except when I have to wait for something... like the repair of my desktop.

If you have a thick skin you may be able to stay, but know that there will always be some who cannot do anything but attack where you are and some won't be very much like Jesus when they do it. I wish that were no so, but that is how people are... including many bearing that Christian label.

If that is really what think you see or what you expect, I again wonder why you are serious about continuing here unless you are openly hopeful of finding someone either very weak or not sincere in his espoused beliefs.

Mover and shaker? That's me for certain. Sorry about your computer. I hope it's not a contagious thing that every one else's computer on CB is going to catch...LOL Perhaps we'll be the first ones banned here for bringing aboard sick computers...:D

Probably with most of them you are right. I don't mind a little talk outside that framework, but you should not expect me to go completely outside of my faith in order to discuss. I really believe in what I live. Like it or not, my walk with God is the most important thing in my life. I won't...

Well the desktop computer is out. After struggling to fix the thing I remembered that it should still be covered under warranty. It is. They cannot see me about it until next Tuesday, but at least I know that no matter how serious it is, it is covered. In the interim I am on this laptop which I...

The pictures sound like mine. I have not counted them but I expect it is something in the same range. I have scanned them all into the my computer, including a few thousand color slides. The color slides themselves are gone so they only exist now on my computer. As I remember there about 2,000...

What is it about then?

Interesting "Take" on it!

I keep two extra sets of my data, on this laptop as well as another much older one. If I should lose the information on my desktop it is mostly intact. But it is a hassle and I really don't like using this laptop for day to day activities. Since my best friend died a couple of months ago and...

You may definitely count me out. LOL. I have trouble enough... Help me dear Lord! Today my head is buzzing after spending hours, unsuccessfully, trying to fix my crashed desktop.

Not really fun for me. I get embarrassed often enough when I lose track of people because they have changed their names. I guess it is a sign of age but I get confused enough without people switching to a whole new designation that would definitely lose me.

@My Dreams Praying for this situation now.

Routine broken! My desktop computer crashed yesterday. Today I had to fire up my old laptop. The computer is still under warranty but no one can look at it until next week

Yes, it is a Christian forum without regard to the sub-forum. I don't know the original the intentions of the builders of the forum, but it is what it is and people, including yourself, are what they are. You still want to decide how people should act or react to or interact with you. In that...

Without a doubt while I was willing to listen because it was the polite thing to do, essentially there is nothing you could share that I have not heard before. You may say the same about what I have shared with you, but you chose to visit me effectively on my turf, did you not? As Solomon...

One thing all of us need to understand clearly, especially citizens and residents of the USA, is that America is Not equal to the Church. America may well have an important role to play, but we need to stay on the Lord's side no matter which direction America travels. Too many people mix up...

And I am right between you and Trump at 76. If given enough time I do pretty well, so I try always to take extra time. My routine activities usually go well until something or somebody comes along and breaks my routine.

I read through it all carefully shortly after you posted it but did not want to post the first reply. I'm not much of a political student, but I am concerned. After a while when I checked and saw still no response I plunged in... In any case I am not expecting to see anything like Hezekiah...

@Hidden In Him I have been praying for our leaders. To what extent is the President our leader, really? Look at the first three kings of all ancient Israel and then look at the ones who followed, the kings of Judah and the kings of the northern 10 tribes, called Israel. How good were the...
