Yet, during that Pentecost... Peter and the 120 in the upper room, all spoke with tongues , yet none of them were water baptized in Act 2:38. Also, the 11 Apostles, were given the Holy Spirit, in John 20:22, and none of them were water baptized, and none of them spoke in "tongues". Water is...

Tho the bio of GK is only based on the (somewhat) historical data provided by his enemies, its possible that GK died of a nose bleed while in a drunken state, in his bed, following a wedding. Its also possible that His brand new Bride had been previously commissioned (by an arch enemy)...

Death bed conversions, really do happen, as God does not set a time limit, regarding faith in Christ. It can be, however, that a person develops over time, a seared conscience, and if that happens, then the Call of Christ...the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, will no longer reach the heart...

Paul said. """"I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died."""" Jesus said.. """"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."""" 1.) "the flesh...

Paul didnt create 'the doctrine of election". So, its not good to accuse Paul of Calvin's heresy.

Jesus said to them... "I AM..... from Above and YOU are.... from Below". He said this, while as a man talking to people. Notice the 'I AM".... That is what God said to Moses when Moses said..."what is your name". This is the same that Jesus the "man" said to the Pharisees, ... "Before...

The Power to live the Christian life is turned OFF = just as soon as you try to do it by willpower or self effort. (self striving). Or as Jesus said...>"Apart from me, you can do NOTHING". Paul teaches us that its "Christ who always gives me the Victory" and that is the Power of Christ...

He was. Its that "fine line" between "genius and crazy".. Origen was there....

Truth sounds like that to people who are having trouble believing it. But, i do appreciate that your questions, tho often laced with a carnal insult, open a door for me to share more Truth with readers here who are real students of the BIBLE and not some branch of someone's theology that they...

Origen founded the Christian School of Caesarea. He was extremely intelligent, very self righteous, and kinda crazy. Origen took a knife and castrated himself, because he read a verse that talks about "eunuchs". (don't do that Reader). He also created the idea of "soul sleep" that the "cult...

A heretic created the "doctrine of Election". The Cross denies this cult teaching, according to John 3:16 Here are a few things for you to realize @Johann John Calvin didnt compose, write, or authorize, the New Testament. God is not a Calvinist Jesus is not a Calvinist Paul the Apostle is...

The bible is a book of progressive revelation. God didnt stop in Acts 2:38 and Paul didn't stop in Romans 7. Heretics always do. Really.< God does not change, and Jesus is always the same, but, the way that God deals with Man, has changed and continues to change. Did you notice that there is...

using fictional characters as your proof text? Why dont you try using Superman or maybe, The Wizard of Oz, next time, @atpollard . As that will be just as ineffective.

Paul said this.. """"But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.... I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.""" Notice that Paul came into this revelation after He was called by...
