Many non-Catholics believe Baptism to be merely symbolic. We Catholics believe it to be - as Scripture states - regenerative and life-giving. I'd say that's a LITTLE more serious . . .

According to their literature, BOTH JWs and Mormons are baptized "into" their organizations. The Catholic Church recognizes Trinitarian Baptism - even from Protestant sects.
