You really should be concerned that nearly every conclusion you come to is wrong all the time. Everything you have said here is absolutely wrong! You try to apply your conclusions to religion and even that does not fit.

Certainly being critical of everyone is a....is....what? Universal negativity? Disconnected from reality? If Christ or Santa Claus were running for President we could vote for them.... But that is not going to happen....you do know that....right? For those that care and have a conscience, we...

Biden is a criminal, a traitor, a communist that supports the murder of over 600,000 babies a year, lawlessness, anarchy, and the murderous mobs and the destruction of our historical monuments, and teaching our children that our country is bad and only communism is smart and good. He stands with...

You still looking for homework?

@Ronald Nolette So you are thinking that the Greek language was of Hebrew origin? Do you think that the Greek language had Jewish and Christian terms? God created all root languages. That has no point within this conversation. ↑ There is nothing universal about Koine Greek. At the time you had...

Agreed As far as the meaning of the word sin...for all practical purposes, for Christians, you are correct. It is a matter of detail... If you were standing with the Apostle Peter and a Roman Officer and you said, I have sinned. Peter might have discussed your transgression with you. The...

Not a problem...where the Spirit leads us....we can always get back to the topic...maybe there was a message for you...if so...then that is worth the time.

Agreed, some had a working knowledge. It is still a Pagan language associated with Pagan religions. A language that evolved with no concern or association with Judaism or Christianity. So they were looking for words and meanings in the Greek but sometimes adjusted the meaning and the context of...

God is real, we live in the real, and Christianity can be applied to the real. Celebrate the fact that you are saved and be confident in your relationship with God. Just that simple.

I take it back to basics. We are not Jews and our religious beliefs and morals are not defined by the Mosaic Law. For one thing most people do not know the 613 Mosaic Laws and for that matter the Jews are still debating them. Christianity is not a legalistic religion for many reasons. If you...

Sorry somehow I missed this....Great testimony....and an important topic. I'm going to bite... and respond to this in an honest and transparent way... I think you are asking this? Does trauma/abuse/suffering/devastation affect how someone responds to or initiates into sin in their lives.. and...

There ya go.... The thing to keep in mind is that the documented steps of salvation were not written down initially. And the guy or gal that heard Paul speak on the roadside was just as saved as we are today. And that person did not know anywhere near what we know today. No Bible back then. Just...

Let me answer your questions. Thank you very much for answering… 1. Repentance is from the Greek metanoia which simply means a change of mind! Yes from the Greek word Metanoia in a roundabout way. When the Apostles were working at getting the New Testament written it was being done in a Pagan...

No...have some courage. Talk about this.

The topic itself is simple. I am not throwing mental disabilities and or chronic pain into the mix. People can be so bad off that they are on prescribed medications that wack them out. And there are people that cannot afford the expensive medications, so they self medicate. The tragedy starts...

How many people on this forum and around the world have real issues that devastate their lives? Who would want to walk in their shoes? Does that sort of thing relate to the topic of sin and repentance? It is a good question.

The last thing I am going to do is talk you into drinking. I am not going to talk you into mountain climbing either. But you know a football team could not win if they did not know the rules. Got to know the rules and that can be a hard thing for Christians now a days. People have been adding...

Repentance as something that is granted? Think about that... There are those that think that repentance is a one time event, but that has its own line of Theology that goes along with it. There are instances in the Gospels where Christ forgave sins or healed without any written indication (in...
