@Holy An angel is a messenger. Is she God's messenger or someone else's messenger is the answer you need answered...

No, I would say rather to simply trust God. While we are still here and have not overcome the world as Jesus did, our testing continues, and it may include some of those things some would call "worst", but then... "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to...

@Holy999 How well can we know our enemies? Probably about as well as we know God! How well do we know God? If we simply seek His kingdom and His righteousness always first, I believe, we will get to know Him better. Many people, I believe, who have met God don't get to know Him better because...

I cannot speak to that. I have only heard bits and pieces of quran quoted on forums like this one, which is insufficient for me to render even a good opinion. I must simply trust God. I do believe God and I believe that anyone who really has a heart honesty directed toward God and the good...

@Holy999 Can you wear such a thing and keep God's kingdom and righteousness always first? If so God will likely not complain. No guarantees about people!

Thanks to all for prayers. The surgery was delayed from original date. The root which had been under the crown was finally removed yesterday, Thursday, 02-27. I was warned about swelling, and bleeding and pain. None of those things have happened. I have a nice clean gap between upper molars on...

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of...

@Eternally Grateful Welcome to the forum!

Even so... God willing!

Praying for all of the 'sick' here!

@Holy999 In spite of your fuzzy and strange heading, I am praying for God to show you the step to take toward Him.

What would it take for a man to see God's glory! Remember His answer to Moses? What has changed?

@Holy999 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Rom 10:13-14

@My Dreams Praying for you!

The reason why a person should or would take a leap of faith is because he wants something and actually sees an example of it in someone serving God. The label of Christian too often for too many is simply all that there is, a label. When the Jews of 2000 years ago saw Jesus they saw something...

On this forum and in my community [and all of the other communities of my experience] the witness of many people bearing the label of Christian is a poor one. Others here may not agree that is what I see. The good thing is that the unbeliever, who is really hungry and thirsty for the right...

Jesus!

Great big?

@Holy999 Pray for them and also remember what Jesus said here: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!" Luke 13:34
