Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Certainly the Lord does not need us. But it is the gift a desire of God to save as many as call on His name. Therefore, much as you have said, our weakness then becomes His weakness, to His glory. You are not deceived.

Did you not think you were now on trial?

To church or not to church

There are many ways to view "church." But, it would seem you mean the traditional gathering on Sundays, etc., as opposed to communing with God in all of life as God has appointed it. To which I would have to agree to some extent is perhaps more honest and less pretentious. For years I just...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

You are waffling. It was not me who declared "My" "perfect[ion]" was not "complete", but Christ. I was prepared to let it go, as it seemed that you began to say much the same thing as I did. But then you also seem determined to find me in error, even when I made a simple quote of Christ...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Confusion, not mine: 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Belize for a week of diving. :) Thanks!

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

"Complete" is good. But I am selling nothing. However, you have obviously missed the point: If there were no imperfection, then Christ would have had no reason to come; and if we were not to be His body and His bride, then we would have no reason to become perfect as our Father in heaven is...

    Amos 5:24

It sounds like you prefer the swamp... Which is not Christ-like at all. Trump is turning over the tables of the evil merchants, and his nah is nah and his yeah is yeah.

    Amos 5:24

Wow! How backward can one be. Trump may be a mad dog, but he has surrounded himself with Christians, while taking on corruption in both parties and the media...and he won, because of the very thing you now find repulsive. He must have hoit yo liddo feelings. But I personally have met and...

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

I do not "believe", but know.

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

So said the religions leaders. History repeats itself, and you have learned nothing.

    Redemption ?

Your lawyer speak says more about you than me.

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

The meaning of "confound" in this use, is: "guard." Genesis 3:24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Which if you will note, aligns the timing of the two events.

It's Christmas time! There you go ....

All things come in parables, as they are a manifestation of what is on high. Shepherds indicate many things, but mainly, that they should be first to know that their Boss had come: the Shepherd of shepherds.

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

All language was confounded [by God] at the tower of Babel. Therefore, it "must be spiritually discerned."

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

That dividing line is, those who hear, or do not hear His voice: the seed that falls upon good or rocky soil.

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

That is a gallant effort. But which is better, the Word of God (which has been "confounded") or the mind of God from which I speak? I claim: no contest.

    ANTI-CATHOLICISM IN THE MEDIA

The chuckle stands then. As you will.

New and old - the meaning of this from the greek text

You say the old is new, but Christ said "old and new." Thus, you speak of the old and are blind to the new, and when I tell you of the new, you do not receive it. History has many like you.

The Light Set on a Hill

Well, I am kinda tracking with you...I guess. But, part of the problem is walking both sides of the line, i.e., we could say what we are is what we are, or we could say what we were and are or are to come is different. So, yes, being grafted in makes one an Israelite. Nonetheless, that is not...
