The Pope Sides With Muslims Over Israel’s Claim to Jerusalem

In previous ages messages were sent by word of mouth or by letter. Today we have a media that communicates in pictures and sound and that instantly. Great technology but it is also manipulative. For instance a picture can be taken to support a particular theme and sent around the globe...

Hey Grams, I know a song called Lily Marlene. You probably know it as well. It’s got a nice tune. It wouldn’t happen to be about you would it? :) just kidding. Nice to hear your story.

When Is It Time To Die?

By the way Triumph, nice bike! A few years ago I did an 18 mth ride on a DR650 from Prudoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. Camped out where I could. I’d do it again but this time with company.

When Is It Time To Die?

Look at Moses, 80 years old and God says, I have a project for you. That’s encouraging for me :)

Does the Lord Come to Do Work in the Flesh or in a Spiritual Body in the last days?

Alice, the expression ‘Son of Man’ is Jesus’s favourite expression of himself. He did not call himself the Son of God although he was.

The Pope Sides With Muslims Over Israel’s Claim to Jerusalem

Lin, we are all trying to understand as best we can. None of us have 20/20 vision although we might like to think so. Much patience and self honesty is required by all whose heart desires to understand God’s Word.

This is my personal walk with God through faith

As I read the scriptures I find that The Church has always been in existence wether OT or NT. The division of history is ours. Salvation is for all people in the worlds history. The literal nation of Israel is a real life metaphor for God’s Church throughout all time. The way salvation has...

Yes, it is an interesting contrast. The scriptures use of similar metaphors to illustrate seemingly opposed positions happens in everyday life as well and it is only context that separates the intended meaning.

    "The Carpenter's Son"

Yes, glorifying the candle so that it eclipses the sun is what we need to be mindful of. Emphasis in the areas of the text that do not call for emphasis will shift the focus. Oh the subtlty of error that swirls about us in a dozen forms. May our God shine a light and guide our feet in his paths.

A DEEP BREATH CHANGES YOUR MIND

Mysticism is the bedfellow to the idea of the immortality of the soul. The rise of spiritualism in the churches is no surprise. It goes hand in hand with with these ideas.

The Pope Sides With Muslims Over Israel’s Claim to Jerusalem

Firstly, welcome to the forum Lin. I hope you find encouragement and growth. Perhaps I should say this; the genealogy of faith (God’s people) is not ethnicity connected in the strict sense. You will find this throughout the scripture both old and new testaments. A look at the genealogy of...

The Pope Sides With Muslims Over Israel’s Claim to Jerusalem

The whole Old Testament Hebrew economy revolved around the Temple and its functions. Although few saw it the temple and everything to do with it foreshadowed The Messiah. In the last days of Jesus’s life he stands opposite the City and proclaims, Oh Jerusalem Jerusalem, how often would I have...

God allows the wombs of Palestinian mothers to carry babies just as he does the wombs of Israeli mothers. Why give Israel special status?

    Perfect in beauty: anointed cherub?

The temple and associated practices, it’s layout and all the furnishings particularly the mercy seat represented Jesus. I have not heard of Satan guarding the mercy seat but why would he? he is in opposition to Jesus.

    My stomach hurts

You’ve probably probably heard this a million times but I’ll say it anyway, knowing God is not the same as knowing doctrine. Knowing God is where the offence lies to those whose sole interest is doctrine.
