The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

Now you add giving false witness against me. I never said that.

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

I will paraphrase, not my words, but His: History, in which we have a part, is His story, the revelation of Jesus Christ. He made all that was made, meaning He manifest all things. Planted in this garden are wheat and tares for the harvest, meaning those who are of God and those who have...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

This I addressed in post# 324. But I will say it again... He who has an ear, let him hear: There is the law of sin and death, and then there is the law given to Moses and Israel. The two are different, distinctly identified as such by Christ. All are under and subject to the law of sin and...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

We are all under the law of sin and death, that law which is against the flesh. But that is served and fulfilled in death. However, Paul was not under the law given to Moses - that was Saul, whom is dead. Paul on the other hand, was a new creation in Christ, whom was dead to the law, but alive...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

You tread on dangerous ground, invoking the law upon one born of the Holy Spirit of God. It is I who should be warning you...while you still have breath.

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

Paul spoke to those under both covenants...and these passages that you quote and are true of those under the law, do not contradict or make void those that I have quoted pertaining to those under the new covenant who are not under the law, but under Christ.

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

Tell it to Christ the Son, for it was He, not I, who separated the two. But I have reminded you, and now you judge me and do not even know me.

    Why Are We Here?

Do you mean "here" on this forum...or "here" in the world?

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

You are mixing the law (proper) given to Moses, with the natural law of sin and death (addressed by Paul). Which cannot be mixed, but were clearly described as distinct one from the other by Christ, as those being first and last. Therefore, if we are to talk of the law of Moses, let us talk of...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Romans 7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

All are under sin and death, but all were not given the law. Therefore, the gentiles who now come to Christ, do not come under the law, but under Christ whom is no more under the law, but made perfect having overcome sin and death. This is the gift of eternal life, uniquely given to "the...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

That is correct, which I did not mean to contradict. For the sake of understanding to whom the law was given, I stuck to those not grafted in, for clarity. But the fact remains, that those that are grafted in (and not part of the natural branches), not Israel, were never under the law. So, then...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

How will you understand if you do not stay focused? We were discussing death to self, which is well outlined in the verses I gave you...because you were unaware, and asked. You are not listening. I had dismissed the history you refer to as fascinating, but evident without getting lost in the...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

And to those who have died to self, what do the scriptures say regarding them? I gave you the scripture (where Christ asked "Who do men say that I am?" The rest is history, and written in the book of acts and the epistles. Do you dispute that the church took up the teachings of men, following...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. In the days before and during the time of Christ, one was either of the chosen (of Israel) and under the law, or of the gentiles and not under the law. But today, and since the death of that last...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

That was then, this is now. Christ was the Last, the last born under the law. He also was the First, the first born of the spirit of God - in fact: the only begotten. We, if we are in Christ, are in Christ because we have come into Him (and He into us). We too have been born again of the...

Anti_Christ , False Prophet Will Be Nephilim?

The answer is not physiological. If you seek understanding...understand that the anti-christ and the false prophet not only come, but have come since the beginning. Their works abound in every generation. When we go out and when we come in, they are here. Beware, and be known of Him who has...

The Identity of the Two Witnesses of Revelation

All of this is spiritual. The dead are all who are born of flesh, but the dead in Christ is Israel, the chosen. The [only] living are those born [again] of the spirit of God. It is the power of God that makes up what can be described as flames out of their mouths, for they judge the world. This...

The Identity of the Two Witnesses of Revelation

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. There are two who are manifest in the world: the Word, whom is Christ, meaning the flesh, and the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of God. The two witnesses are "the...
