Glad to make you smile. The idea that celebrating birthdays goes against God’s word ought to be a justification that makes you smile big time. What year is it, sweetie?

Both. All glory to God but honor is due many. See honor your mother and father. See debate on obeisance v worship.

Of all the absurd religious objections, this stands as the most absurd! Opposing honoring Christ via celebrating his birthday makes no sense whatsoever. Wrong date? So what? The precise date matters not. Based on pre-existing festival? Part of time honored cultural appropriation. Non-Irish...

I suppose that is what doctrinal purity is all about. I'm reading a book my wife got me for my birthday about the Wild Heart of Men. In it, the author explains that Eve was created in the Garden of Eden but Adam was created from clay, the Earth itself before Eden was made and therefore outside...

In light of Thomas touching the wounds of Christ, I can’t imagine how JW maintain Jesus was not resurrected bodily.

Body. You forgot to end with spiritual body. Even though I think you are wrong on this point, I still love you and believe you are a Christian. O

    What Scripture verse says this?

A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Given the fullness of Scripture, I take this ‘in Spirit’ to apply to how God raised Jesus from the dead, NOT to mean Jesus was raised from the dead disembodied. What spirit did God raise Jesus? In the spirit that Jesus would not be the last but first fruits. Do you believe people will be raised...

The Bible certainly says what happened to Jesus; it’s called the Ascension.

Sermon about trans Jesus’ vaginal wound leaves congregants shocked and in tears

And we are supposed to be tolerant and ‘respect’ their POV due to the sacrament of ‘diversity.’

Sermon about trans Jesus’ vaginal wound leaves congregants shocked and in tears

It’s so funny how that politically correct sensitivity does not apply to anything that made America great, anything to do with ‘White’ culture including Christianity. Can you imagine if MLK Jr, Malcolm X or a rappa was the object of such sacrilege?

It reminds me that they will invent ways to do evil.

The One Most High God literally created Christmas for us

Jesus was sent. And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. John 17:3

The One Most High God literally created Christmas for us

Where is this in Scripture? I hear this a lot but in Scripture. In Scripture, the Son of God was given authority to forgive sins, who in turn gave that authority to the Apostles. Are the Apostles God too since they forgave sins?

The One Most High God literally created Christmas for us

Still not seeing how it is dangerous to construe Scripture to mean that Jesus was not fully God. I do see how you have abandoned God's word to rely on 'Church Father's.' Now that seems very dangerous to me!

Where in the scripture is anyone called to be a Christian?

What is the Gospel about and how is this different from what is called Christianity?
