She had to have stopped believing this at some point or she never would have left the CC! I also reached the point where it was difficult for me to believe that my sins were forgiven by telling them to a priest. The page number is never given for the CCC. Here is paragraph no. 837: 837 "Fully...

You get the URL from right clicking on the internet image and choosing.... Open in new tab. Still won't work.

Yes. That's the upload a file choice which I mentioned does work. It's when you get images from google or bing that they won't post. Try that...

That's pretty funny. About me not understanding evil, I mean. First I believed in satan, Then I believed in God. Evil came first. I understand evil very well. Anyway, when we speak, you shouldn't think anything about me that I don't post. I caught you at being a calvinist although you...

Who's arguing? We're just talking here. Arguing is when everybody is mad at each other. I'm never mad....

Is that an image of a photo? I've been posting images for 3 years not. Never had a problem. Do you use the images icon up on the toolbar? Do you open a new tab till you get to the jpg ? Do you copy and paste? I've tried everything. The only thing that works is to put the image in my images...

You said justified and made righteous is the same. Is it the same? Being justified comes from our belief and an action totally from God. Being made righteous has nothing to do with us and is totally from God.

How is the invitation to all real if you just stated that God chooses us? What is the use of inviting those God knows will not come? Election of specific persons makes no sense and is not supported by scripture. Romans 1:19-20 says that God has revealed Himself from the beginning of time and...

Sure we pray Lord changer their heart. We also pray help him to believe. We turn to God for everything! This means nothing as to what you believe it means. I make a strong point of the fact that not believing in man having free will and that we are saved by our choice, goes back to the...

When we are justified, we are made righteous. But are we made righteous through our own merits or through the merit of our believing in Jesu? We are justified through OUR OWN belief. We are made righteous through Jesus' cross.

Sorry Stranger, maybe I didn't explain correctly. I DO believe in imputation of righteousness through Jesus.

The first article does, however, make sense. As I've said, I never studied this enough to speak about it. In a way I see that we are responsible for our actions and how they could make us righteous...then we have Isaiah saying our righteousness is as dirty rags. I also understand the New...

I see your point. It's debatable I guess. I've always heard that it was because some found it distasteful to hear Jesus speak about being "eaten".

I agree about Paul. Mary would be another example and Moses. God chose specific persons for specific tasks. When you say that God chose us first, do you mean a SPECIFIC person? If so, what happens to the others that He did NOT choose? And I hope you understand that Calvin taught that God...

Please explain, then WHY the disciples went back.... Why would Jesus saying "no man can come unto Me except it were given unto him of My Father" cause them to abandon Jesus? What do you think they understood by those words?

Hell could also be here on Earth and all the more if we don't obey God,,,just from natural ocurrances that come about due to disobedience. But I also believe it's a literal place. Wherever God isn't, that's hell.

Isn't the good news the New Covenant? We are lost and through Jesus we can be reconciled to God and besaved. Saved from what? Hell is where God is not. Isn't this one of the things Jesus came to save us from and teach us how Not to end up there?

Oh, and I just read about the silly games @Stranger mentioned. They keep serious discussions light,,,some silly games are good. They sure don't distract me!!

I believe that theology is either blasphemy, or very close to it.
