Many thanks, sister. I know the prayers make a difference.

Well my front teeth are not beautiful. They were always crooked from the time the permanent teeth arrived. No such thing as orthodontics in those days... or if there was it was too costly for anyone to consider. Only in age have there been problems, but so long as I can bite and chew I am not...

That is not actually a direct answer to my question, but it will do. Thank you.

Have God then closed the lines of communication between God and men? I believe not! In any case, talking with God, which is what each of us does when he prays and listens for God's response does not change nor add to what is written. Neither did the testimony of @mjrhealth . I could also testify...

You did not answer my question directly. I asked whether or Jesus was the Word of God. If the answer is, yes, then where does the scripture say the Word of God cannot do with a man what @mjrhealth says was done with him? You say it is not talking about that but tell then if you will what it is...

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part...

Is Jesus not the Word of God? I believe it was Jesus who met with @mjrhealth ...

Speaking of the unchanged, unrenewed eyes of flesh, the eyes of a dead man... Indeed to Moses He said this: "And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live." Ex 33:20 Even Moses was still dead awaiting the Life Jesus was to bring! To us He said this: "The...

What scripture says that? Is our God so limited as that? Does every believer need to personally see and handle the nail prints in Jesus' hand and feet? No, but some like Thomas may? Some few God show something different to let people know that He can. "Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he...

Yes, He gave us the scriptures, but if we ignore what is written, what do those things written mean to us? "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27 You surely are not saying that God cannot allow Himself...

In both the OT and the NT there are stories of people who were involved in seemingly impossible experiences. If one of those people were to stand before us today and we did not know what was written in scriptures would we believer them when they testified to us? Why do we believe anything that...

Arranged - chaotic

Right, as you see, I was there when it was first becoming a big thing. I arrived in Viet Nam in August of 1964 when there were only 16,000 American troops there mostly support troops for the ARVN [Army Rep of Viet Nam] forces who handled any combat against the Viet Cong. The first real American...

@Willie T I listened completely to one on covenants which was good background. Next I started to listen to one on race issues in Christianity, but after almost 2 minutes she had never gotten into her subject so I shut her off. A third one about understanding the continuation of spiritual gifts...

Well enough, thank you! The flu symptoms are causing me problems sleeping, but hopefully things, God willing, will soon improve. My wife's for a change were not as bad as mine and she is doing well indeed. The dental appt fell through because they no longer accept our insurance. I have a new...

Styled - haphazard

I know little about boats/ships, but I took lots of pictures during my 12 months [1964-1965] on slides. Eventually I was able to scan them into my computer but some times the quality was poor:

@Jeremy Colosi Praying for you and your friend!

Saved to listen to later... Thanks for posting the links.

I never sailed in a Vietnamese boat but got a few pictures of them:
