Therefore they have something to do with it; in that keeping them is the result of salvation. There is no salvation in the Old Testament no proposed path to heaven in the Old Testament. God never offered heaven as a reward or destination in the Old Testament. Deuteronomy was inspired by the...

Seriously you have to be kidding me....you are not that stupid....right! In my mind! Is this the first time you ever heard of separation of church and state? I do not have a good bedside manner for this depth of silly.

lol Your just being funny...right! Christian do not sell their daughters into concubinage, but the Jews did and it was regulated by the Mosaic Law. Please learn the Mosaic Law.

However, the 10cs have NOTHING to do with our Salvation from the curse of eternal death. Keeping them is the result of salvation. You mean the 14 summaries of laws. lol The Mosaic Law has nothing to do with salvation! Consider that in Exodus 34:28, it says that the ten commandments are written...

Pay attention. "There is no mention anywhere in the constitution or Bill of rights." Again, the Bill of Rights are part of the Constitution. The Bill of Rights are a group of Amendments to the Constitution. The Constitution was ratified June 21, 1789 and then they realized that there needed to...

Do you need a lecture on not forming a religion on one verse. Do you hate your mother and father? Is it really an option for you to sell your daughter into concubinage? The whole storyline is about the Son of God delivered by a woman. The question I have is, do you have problems with women...

I you are thinking I do not know this! The point is in fact there was confusion. The topic is about what happened. But the fact is without a doubt, the only laws referred to by God as commandments as in the phrase "Ten Commandment" is in chapter 34. And it is those Commandments that God said...

Exactly! Moses wrote the Ten Commandments that God gave him there. But they were not the ten summaries spoken in chapter 20

I love it when people like to mince words in an attempt to deceive. What is the bill of rights in relation to the Constitution? It is called the First Amendment for a reason....not an alienated document. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the...

No matter how you look at it...there is an old covenant with God and a new covenant with God. The new covenant is not an addendum to the old covenant.

Absolutely not. lol You are thinking that I have not looked at it closely lol The summery of laws spoken of at the foot of Mt Sinai (chapter 20) are just that, summaries that are detailed in the actual Mosaic Laws. The ones God spoke to Moses on top of Mt. Sinai (chapter 34) are detailed and are...

Taken The trinitarian formula between the Protestants and the Catholics are not that different. There would be more differences between Protestant denominations than between the "common formula" and what is believed by most Protestants and Catholics. Spiritual Son and the only begotten Son. We...

Well it does not look like a Quaker or Amish. A little mountain man...which is good. Hope all is good with you and yours.

I am jealous of your beard!

Oath of political office I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion and that I will well...

As I said, they are a summary of some of the Laws in the 613 Mosaic Laws. Short form. Paul quotes a short form of a short form for the discussion that he was pointing out that they are all summed up with, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Christ's moral teachings are vastly superiors to...

Long standing misconception. The specifics get pretty long. And if you want to go into the specifics we can do that, but here ya go. 1. The number of the summery of laws given at Mount Sinai were 14, not ten. Exodus chapter 20. God never called these the Ten Commandments. They are a short...

Homosexuality is a sin. In practice it is literally sex with poop. Just how much it damages the lives of others is hard to calculate. It makes life unsafe for children, produces an atmosphere that could irreparably harm them for life. It should never be a law that Christians have to accept...

Satan is a schemer, if he want to mess people up, he confuses reality. Confuses right from wrong. Causes them to question the validity of the scriptures and their faith. Granted it is good to know what constitutes a sin. You missed church last Sunday or you are responsible for the genocide of...

You are right
