All right now, everyone mark it down. Clear your calendars for that date. No sore throats allowed. Every one bring some cookies and I'll see what I can do for some milk on my end.

Let's just set date and a time that's convenient for everyone! LOL

Well living in Oklahoma, hopefully for the USA I'm located close to the center. We could sing together at my place. Anyone needing directions... just ask! For folks overseas, don't try it in your automobile.

@VictoryinJesus Oh I wish you would not have done this to my poor head. I am seriously not serious... if you understand which probably you don't for I am not sure that I do. When God gives me something to write or say it flows right out... but now you are making me try to backtrack... LOL...

Ah now I understand your point. Consider however that many of us regularly consult dead people around us. Anyone who has NOT received the Life that Jesus brought is dead in the eyes of God and are we not to be like Him? Is our physician or grocer or auto mechanic or attorney or teacher or...

If you really teach them about God as God and you are also living a 'good' example before them, what else can you do? I would guess praying for them every day would be the other thing as well as teaching them what prayer is and why they should also put some of that in their lives each day. As...

Thank you for the film clip. I enjoyed watching it. I hadn't heard or even heard of Ray Comfort previously. Doubtless it can at times be a good thing to give a person an idea of what is ahead of him. But... just knowing that is not enough, is it? We have the power to kill and without God's...

But, when a person preaches or teaches a hellfire message to a person, is he not prejudging a person he does not know at all? Why should you do that? I could think of why we should not but...? The person is condemned already if he does not know Jesus so would it not better to introduce him to...

You might try the witch or spirit of Endor. You could use King Saul as a reference!

Yes, we also are likely to be biased in some direction. Hopefully it is a better direction as God sees it. Of course each of us believes that his own bias is OK. My wife and I also homeschooled our children for their final years in high school.

Something like the old 'fire and brimstone' type of preaching, maybe?

How is it that you are now, Helen? What happened to "ByGrace"?

@bbyrd009 Indeed, God would have the correct definition, but how many among us would agree to a single definition that will for certain line up with both His and one another's? Still a person who is sent as such a star does not need to know the definition. He simply needs to do what God tells...

I added the two verses preceding the one you quoted for a for better understanding of the context: "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment...

Or a star is one who God sends to people with some Light to share: apostles, pastors, evangelists, teachers, prophets. Those people when really anointed and sharing what God given them to share are as stars in heaven, be it 1st or 2nd or 3rd heaven, but then... "And he said unto them, I beheld...

I don't believe that the "I" in your statement is really God. It is the "you" speaking that "I" for he is the one who cancels the bargain made in his supposed repentance at the start... until something in the world was just a little bit too enticing to keep on keeping God in first place. Believe...

Jesus mentions Abraham by name as being among the living. When did he attain to this 'life', we might wonder? Maybe we need to fall back some on what our friend @ScottA tells us about time. We may still not really know or understand but perhaps we'll be closer than we were before. Is this what...

Where does it all start? Consider the time you are attending a church and the minister especially that day teaches something truly wonderful and you react as the Spirit stirs you up and give God the glory. Soon it is time to leave and go about whatever else the day holds for you. Out onto the...

Helen is our big sister in the Lord here. I first met her on another forum a lot more than 10 years ago. She is still growing in Him and letting the overflow spill out onto everyone around her.
