Baptism, a little word with the power of the universe. Beliefs regarding baptism go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Many believe that when someone is baptized it causes miraculous events for the individual that are part of salvation. Some believe it is linked to repentance and thus...

lol I will play your game. What scripture says specifically that "being saved will get you to heaven?" Odd are good that Christ and the Apostles did not count on someone having the audacity or the ignorance to question what they were telling them to do to achieve salvation. Believeth and is...

You have rejected Christ's own words and call Him a liar. I recommend Baby Ray's barbecue sauce....you will be needing it. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be...

As I said, you can reject Christ words, but where does that leave you? At no time is baptism or communion referred to as works. The good little boy that rejects the Word of God is damned. The good little boy that does not apply the Heart of Christ in good Deeds is no service to Christ. The...

Most of the time the confusion is that some Christians think that baptism and the bread and wine ritual are considered works. The funny thing is that changing your life is a very big work...much more than in a sense than baptism and the bread and wine ritual. For some it stems from James'...

I think you are getting a few things mixed up. A guy walks down a sidewalk and the thought occurs to him that he believes in Christ....and he does not change anything in his life....is he saved?

So what is your point?

You have a Bible full of scriptures telling you to Be Baptized. What is a person that rejects the Way to salvation outlined by Christ Himself. What is a disobedient..renegade disciple of Christ. If you reject Christ's Words you reject Him and your own salvation.

Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyer rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of Him.

By rejecting the words of Christ and the Bible you have rejected your own salvation. Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyer rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of Him.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; be he that believeth not shall be damned. Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyer rejected the counsel of God...

Very good and good scriptures...thanks

Thank you. As it is we know the Apostles were obedient to Christ. As it is the scriptures denote the requirement of water baptism. In motion, the scriptures document the urgency of Baptisms after accepting Christ as their Savior. There is a topic that compares the difference between John's...

Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, You -- us Christians. The topic is not to be fearful of persecutions and troubles, the providence of God will see you---us...

The book I wrote was volumes...1200 pages with appendixes. People that know me, know that I am a walking speech. When I address a topic I like to nail it down. Hope all is well with you.

Acts 16:15 And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us. Acts 16:33 And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was...

And now, as far as I shall be able, I will reply to them who affirm that the apostle were unbaptized. For if they had undergone the human baptism of John, and were longing for that of the Lord, then since the Lord Himself had defined baptism to be one; (saying to Peter, who was desirous of being...

Was Abraham a horrible sinner? The issue of slavery has come up with the discussions concerning the Black Lives Matter organization and although I am pretty hard line on such things because I know that coddling criminals will only perpetuate the problem, so I am not addressing that. But I want...

I am thinking this is the one that had a large number of witnesses and and it was reoccurring.
