    Saved By Fear?

The way you write confuses me. I like to be very clear. So let's make what you believe and what I believe very clear since you're saying my answer is the same as Calvin's. May it never be! Calvin: God predestined, from the beginning of time who would be saved and who would not be saved --...

    Saved By Fear?

I can't explain free will again. I even posted some links which I doubt you've read or you wouldn't be asking me this again. Of course God's will is different than our own. He's God. He can fly if He wants to, we cannot. But, again, this is NOT what biblical will is. It just pertains to...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

So then protestants are correct in calling the Catholic Church a silly religion. A rapport with God must have some type of continuity. If I have a good relationship with God, and then commit a mortal sin, for instance miss Mass, and I died, I'd go to hell? So then what is my relationship worth...

    The Forty Pre-Ascension Days

How do YOU know the resurrectioni is real?

    Saved By Fear?

    I didn't say that!

    Saved By Fear?

No. I do believe a problem here is your understanding of expressions. Free will in a philosophical sense, and free will in the biblical sense. Iow, the ability to choose,,,to make a moral choice.

    Saved By Fear?

Foreknowledge means to know something before it happens. God didnt need foreknowledge to know who are His. He would naturally know who He wants to save. It means that God foreknew Who Would Choose HIM.

    Saved By Fear?

Is there a third choice? What do you understand a free will to be?

The Last Pope?? says there is no Hell!! More Signs of the Last days!!

You agree! And I owe you a post on this! But I hate discussing hell. I do believe Jesus spoke of an unpleasant place. I don't believe this has to do with salvation issues.

His reply was not serious but my question was.

    The Forty Pre-Ascension Days

Our proof is our trust in the apostles. If we can't trust the apostles, we can't trust that the resurrection is true.

    Saved By Fear?

Number two is wrong. Concupisence, or the sin nature, does not force us to wrong, we only Tend toward wrong, but we can also choose the right. Even atheists could be very moral person's.

The Last Pope?? says there is no Hell!! More Signs of the Last days!!

Interesting idea. I think he should speak the truth, and carefully.

The Last Pope?? says there is no Hell!! More Signs of the Last days!!

The pope "seems" to be saying what the priest said. I skimmed through the article. It's the same old stuff. This isn't the first time the popes words need explaining. I know who Scalfaro is. He's a liberal leftist ,, .I don't know why the pope even speaks to him. He owns a liberal...

The Last Pope?? says there is no Hell!! More Signs of the Last days!!

No distortion Aspen. He said it doesn't exist. And now I hear about what the Pope said?! One more time his words need fixing.

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Read my entire post again. How many times, according to the Catholic Church, is one saved?? They are saved one time, and then that salvation must be maintained. If one commits a mortal sin, which is not easy, it's the only way, according to the Catholic Church, that one becomes separated from...
