I love word studies. Latin is irrelevant, but the various biblical languages are very important. 1. There were several languages that the Hebrews were introduced to over the centuries. But Greek was distinct and when the writers of the New Testament decided to use that language in their texts...

The Virginity of Miriam....one of the oldest and most frequent debates among scholars. But there is some humor to it. Most of us would like to think that Yeshua is the Son of God. But for the sake of everyone's beliefs, let's go with Yahweh did not cast His seed in Miriam's womb. Her egg was not...

Not all Catholics believe that only they are saved (although they have softened that a little) but it is an official doctrine. Most hold Mary (Miriam) in reverence and pray to her and other saints. But we all have things we have to explain. The Protestants do not pray to people, but their...

I have already posted my explanation of the Trinity and I would say there is about a hundred scriptures that stand against what you are saying, not to mention the storyline.

Scholars call it the muddle of the Marys. Good luck with that. Mary is English...Maria....Latin...Miriam Jewish.

Truth has always had enemies.

Well Pearl it is important. But it is not about salvation. It is about the details. Some dig a little deeper than others and there is nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the conversion.

In this case crap can be verified.....don't argue with me. Everything is the truth and the people are historical persons and their writings still exist in volumes. So go put your head in the sand....and scream.....I am not in Kansas any more!

sola scriptura....ok....the phrase Virgin Mary does not appear in the scriptures. The clinical definition of virgin was never strictly implied. The closest Hebrew word for clinical virginity was convoluted too, because the Old Testament used it to described a woman that was raped. The Greek...

As far as if Miriam had other children after Yeshua, it is matter belief....not even debate material ....The scriptures keep Yeshua's history and family life a secret. There are other texts but, still that is a matter of belief. Other than the fact that He had siblings...that is all we know.

What someone else believes is not necessarily what I believe. I follow God's promise, that "when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."...

That sounds like a prayer utilized by RCC in communicating with their goddess. Find a Catholic document that calls Mary – Miriam a Goddess. But she is not the only dead person Catholics pray to. But this practice of course is not Christian, it is a pagan practice tossed into the face of God...

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. How 'bout that Mungo! I love Christians. Who are we suppose to hate? Who are we...

I can copy everything you have said here.......it does not mean it would matter...Anyone that has been following this thread can read what you have written. And I agree....boring. I am for loving other Christians and you are not. Simple as that. You think your religious beliefs are right....be...

A big mouth full of Accusations...Without ONE shred of Evidence to support your Accusations... The only reason you think there is not a shred of evidence is because you don't know history. The reason that education is important. Quote MY WORDS ...of all your supposed "Evil" evidence Review...

I am not Catholic...but I understand that Christians should love one another. You can memorize the Bible, but if you do not know the Spirit of Christ, you are of no use to Him. No, I do not have a good bedside manner for stupid. People run their mouth before engaging their brain. I have little...

You think I am being rude? You might what to consider why I am doing that.

It does not say or interpret to what you said. It is not a mystery; recovering what WAS yours, IS a greater joy then receiving something that WAS not yours to begin with. Greater joy! Greater joy in heaven and earth than for those that are already saved. Its not like finding your watch. I...

It is very difficult FOLLOWING your replys fragmented with my post. I don't use a computer with the luxury of quickly rearranging your posts and my replys and keyboard ease. (it leaves an ongoing mess as seen here.) The Scriptures you posted are not saying; the Lost SHEEP are the Lords MOST...

(PS...it really doesn't require a theology course to Learn the Truth.) That's your analogy. Personally, I believe; Some people: * Don't read the Sunday paper. * Some read from start to finish. * Some read only particular sections. * Some skip around reading what catches their interest. * Some...
