This problem with communication is NOT just with Mormons. Catholics have a similar problem and likely others. I usually understand the Catholics as was once one of them, but they also use a lot a words and phrases that other Christian believers do not. This forum is a good teacher if there is...

I agree that prophecy is the very words of God to mankind. When we are in the Spirit and speaking with our mouth, His Word, that is prophecy. As I has already said people here on the forum have done that and will continue at times to do it. I could not deny this as sometimes God has spoken also...

What was Paul writing to us and why? Was it a message/prophesy from God? To me it might be OK to forget what Paul wrote, but what does God expect from us? And then if the woman's hair must be long, how long? Then too the man's hair must be short, how short? "Doth not even nature itself teach...

For a short period of time many years ago my wife and I attended a Spanish Oneness Pentecostal church where they required women to cover their heads in the church building with a hat, scarf, handkerchief or something so as to not be completely bareheaded. It is the only place in my experience...

And yet according the usage of the word prophecy in scripture there are many prophesying daily on this forum. You and I and almost everyone else here when we give a message from God to others are prophesying according to the scriptural usage. Prophesying includes the prediction of the future but...

If my recollection is correct schools in the United States got their start because people wanted their children to learn how to read and understand the Bible. Over the years the focus as we know has changed to the point where the public schools where it all began now avoid, or even are not...

Thank you for your kind response. I have been baptized in water more than one time over the years by immersion [UPC] as well as being sprinkling [RCC] so I doubt that another one is needed. My own view of what is needful and why is somewhat different but I appreciate hearing yours. It sounds...

I don't believe there is as good of a connection as there needs to be. A well made healthy human body with all of it parts is completely in subjection to the head. When an artery or nerve is cut so that a leg will not and/or cannot obey, it is no longer subject to the head... until repair work...

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" Acts 2:38 If is being "baptized" in his name, simply means being immersed in His name without any dipping in H2O, how...

In the end people will by choosing walk in either through the wide gate or the strait and narrow gate really be deciding for mammon or for God. No luck involved in making that decision. God has given each of us the option... It is either a yea or a nay: "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of...

Even so! Whether it is an Obama or a Trump in the oval office honor the holder of the office and pray for him. He certainly needs it. Praise God! I wouldn't get carried away. God has accomplished what has needed to be accomplished as per His plan. I don't make the Church [without saying what...

But we also can see and hear, but this is not speaking of the physical eyes above our nose, nor the physical ears on the sides of our heads, is it? "Where there is no vision, the people perish:..." Prov 29:18 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part...

Don't forget that the word "well" is in there. When their ruling is NOT well done, would it be in error not to honor them at all? Should we honor a person just because he holds a position?

I had a very good Christian friend who once held the highest position in the BSA. A few years after he left the BSA, which for several years had been fighting against changing their policies, they did make the change to allow counselors and leaders of any sexual persuasion to work with the young...

Remember what I said on a previous post to you about luck. With God, luck has nothing to do with it.

Yes, anything that "clearly" contradicts His Word is a lie. Do you always recognize lies? What did Apostle Paul mean when he quoted these words from the OT? "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest...

Hearing His voice now is what will ultimately make the difference for the "few" who enter through that "strait and narrow gate" not your own understanding of written scriptures. Without the Holy Spirit you cannot hear His voice and you cannot see. This what it means to really be blind according...

Do you really believe that "luck" has anything to do with someone's walk, or without, God and the results of that "with" or "without"?

Not the church, but those who will be among the "few". You could be the vehicle God uses to help them. If their hearts are right He will help them. If you are not available to help, He will use someone else, but that won't do you much good.

In the beginning your purpose may not have had an inherently evil intent. You may have been sincerely trying to inform people about what you considered a deceptive cult, but when @Jane_Doe22 came onto the scene you should have stopped and considered her position really if you really cared about...
