So do we want to include God in our lives? How do we make God part of our life?

Most of the time I see people on the forum discussing interpretation of the scriptures and sometime various sins. What I do not see is discussions about the applications of Christian beliefs in motion and what we should do to lead a good Christian life. So I am asking that question….What...

Ya. the alerts do not work all the time.

JBF you and I agree that the scriptures are important. Most people on this forum agree that the scriptures are important or they would not be here. So we are not the only ones that think that the scriptures are important. But there is clearly more than one way to interpret the scriptures and...

What is funny is that you guys have stumbled across one the biggest arguments among the early Christians. It is inaccurate to say that at that time, there was something called "Mainstream Christianity, due to the various beliefs that existed before and after the ecumenical councils. These...

The one person concept of the Trinity is very popular. And what harm does it do? But it is not the truth. In the storyline of the Gospels we see two Gods working to save humanity. "Count Gods" "Count God names" God the Father in heaven....God the Son on earth do the work of His Father...

Really the only mystery is the unity. The word Trinity does not appear in the Bible, but their relationship to each other is part of the storyline in the Gospels. God defines Himself as the Father and Christ as the Son. God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Nothing about...

Salutations JBF.... Was Santa good to you this year? Let me rephrase what Jane was getting at...... Please outline...summarize....what you are trying suggest....prove....discuss. You did a lot work to put that all together.....in the interest of not waste all that effort, try explaining and...

Back to John Caldwell opening statement… Hi John, hope is all well with you in this New Year. We love labels, but they can cause inaccuracies….wrong thinking and wrong perceptions and judgment and condemnation. Cult, heretics, heresies…ambiguous terms that in course of things have lost their...

Happiness and blessings to you and yours. If you find something I need to look at...feel free to catch my attention. I do look for some threads that have some substance....just have not found a lot.

WOW

They laugh at Christianity's use of GEEE-ZUS as a prime example. I know this for a fact. Good to know the names of the Trinity... God the Father and God the Son deserve to have their names in the Bible.

Again....What is real Christianity? Emulating Christ? Christ called the children to him and said, But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Now I...

He said that such a person went to his home justified rather than another (Luke 18:9-14) And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax...

What effort you put in to being a fear-monger. Christ said, "My yoke is easy and My burden is lite." you're neither living from sin ???? Not living with it. nor looking for Jesus' soon return. I am looking forward to Christ's return....as a blessing not reduced to doomsday rhetoric and...

What makes you think that?

The Apostles knew the urgency of the hour...no excuse for making an open display of Christianity in such away that they think you are somewhere between fanatical or crazy. Focusing on the negative can only produce negative results. Produce a good pamphlet for your church and hand out candy and...

We are Christians....we are all saints....give it up! Ever thought of handing out church pamphlets....or go in with a mega phone in a tavern....? Why attack women and children?

Satan is a schemer and those that follow him can twist the scriptures. The guy that robs the bank can say he is obeying Christ if he justifies it right! Easier for camel to go through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into heaven....if you wish to be saved, sell all you have and...
