    Spiritual authority?

Amen to that...after 47 years of marriage and only four years less serving the Lord together.

    Spiritual authority?

Very early in my marriage after we had begun to serve God together [1976], I learned that God would often speak directly to my wife about things I also needed to know, but was unable to hear myself. This has almost always held true throughout our marriage. Is this not being a 'helpmeet'?

    Spiritual authority?

The problem with such a discussion would be the same as in many others we have, and have had here. Anyone, male or female in the flesh, can be walking in delusion, so they are believing that they are right, same as any who really are right in the eyes of God. Who is not walking in delusion? The...

Does “It Is Finished” Mean All of God’s Work Have Been Completed?

Yes, the job that remains belongs to men: "And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth." John 11:43 Here Jesus had finished His work to bring Lazarus to Life with His words, but then... "And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

Better to a guest at the wedding or a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than to be left in or cast out into outer darkness: "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." Psalm 84:10

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Well your answer is at least clear and easy to understand!

No Heaven if you don't mortify the deeds of the flesh

I really am sorry to hear this. There has been no deceit intended in what I have said. I really was trying help you, not so much in your doctrine as in your attitude [wrong spirit]. You do need to seriously examine yourself and ask for God's help so as to see yourself from His viewpoint...

    Why do we need priests?

Indeed, usually they in delusion because they did not love the Truth. The truth even Jesus as He said, not the church nor even the Church... although loving the Truth will mean loving the Church, but first things first.

    Why do we need priests?

I can see that you are offended by where I am in God. I wish it were not so. Just to be clear, I never purposely twist scripture. I am certain that I have at times missed my turn, but I know One who always knows the Way.

    Why do we need priests?

You love to disagree more than...? I won't finish that sentence as it was from the wrong place, but I leave the fragment of it for your contemplation. I learned that from what is written in Joshua as the Holy Spirit opened it to me: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you...

No Heaven if you don't mortify the deeds of the flesh

Oh my, Davy! Do you have many friends? Believe me, nit picking, whether you are right or wrong, is not the best way to make them or keep them, is it? Neither will apparently or actually winning against people be assurance that you have pleased God. "A man that hath friends must show himself...

    Why do we need priests?

We make the final decision for ourselves. The authority is ours. This authority is what men often call "free will". If we are led by the Holy Spirit to make a decision, then we are right, but if we are not led by the Holy Spirit we are wrong. This is not man's right or wrong, but God's. Men who...

No Heaven if you don't mortify the deeds of the flesh

Not everything an atheist says is wrong, but I would be very slow to follow his advice with regard to walking with God or in witnessing to other people about God and the things of God. On the other side, not everything a believer in Christ says is right, so we should let the Holy Spirit in us...

    Why do we need priests?

Of course we rely on men, hopefully, as they are led by the Holy Spirit. Many are not led at all. Others are led in different degrees according to their own submission to God. This applies to everyone, not only those who hold positions, such as priest, pastor or other minister. God gave...

No Heaven if you don't mortify the deeds of the flesh

I was only making a point in response to another person who has expressed no real interest in what I really believe or why. I certainly do believe that Jesus was making a point, God's point, by using such an expression with regard to Himself. I believe Jesus is God. As has been said recently on...

    mormons exposed.

Yes, God is always leading people who will be led. As we all probably know, some will not be led. I point no fingers at anyone with this, but rather simply hope to remind sincere believers to keep spiritual eyes and ears open to Him so as not to go astray toward some wrong unity. Remember the...

    mormons exposed.

This is likely a good thing which I suspect stems at least in part from the Boys Scouts of America a few years ago finally yielding to pressure to change from more traditional Christian policies with regard to LGTBQ members and leadership. You may correct me on this if I am error.

    mormons exposed.

Even so! The Bible is rich, but it can be and too often is not only misunderstood [I believe] but also misused. The leading of the Holy Spirit is essential to any serious believer.

    mormons exposed.

I've never known a JW closely. My only experience was when they used to come to our door. Like the Mormons, if I were not busy, I would always make time to visit with them. Unlike the Mormons, they seldom returned once they had talked with me. It seems that they had their agenda and...
