Well, bb, this is Sheldon Cooper, but I still don't know who he is... Know what I mean?? The Big Bang Theory (never saw it)

    Church

Source: Traditio Liturgica: La risonanza della Parola (terrible translation. The original was Italian) **************************************************** One of the most recurrent themes in the Catholic World is what Sacred Scripture, read in the Church, has its own particular resonance...

    Church

I just read an Italian article, which I'll link below (if I can figure out how, it's from facebook of a friend) that explains that the bible was not, let's say ENCOURAGED, to be read (PROHIBITED) because the CC was afraid persons would begin to translate the verses in a personal way instead of...

Don't be too surprised about Scarano. I wouldn't even attribute that to the RCC. EVERYBODY in Italy is corrupt. Except me, of course. LOL You know, I don't mean EVERYBODY... Just 95%. I also want to remind you I'm not Catholic, but I don't understand, and never have, how anyone could say...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Don't know Sheldon Coopers. But I do agree that man sees retribution one way, but God another. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. ( Dontcha love the KJV for quoting?! )

j You have successfully explained co-dependency. I understand about enabling. Now, could you explain interdependency? I'm afraid bb gave me two examples... I know good ole' Chuck, But not the Cooper guy.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Oh my goodness!!!! Are these new terms for: Dependent Independent ?? I read the two links and it sure sounds like it. According to the links I AM NOT codependent ! Maybe interdependent, but not sure. Boy, I sure am missing a lot by not being there. I think we all depend on others in many...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Just tell me. I can't know EVERYTHING!!!! Am I getting my Catholic theology mixed up with my Protestant theology? Original sin is when Adam took the bite. The Sin Nature, or the law of sin and death maybe, is what happened AFTER he bit that darn fruit.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

I'm dependent on people. The govt too, for what it OWES me. Is that co-dependent? I think my husband and I are co-dependent. Not sure what inter-dependence is. You could enlighten me...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Oh. I agree that the sin nature is imputed. I've always said that we get the effect of the sin, even if we didn't do the sin. But don't you see the difference between the actual DISOBEDIENCE, and the EFFECT of it? (I feel like I've been having this discussion with someone here...)

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

I think I've been gone a long time now... Doesn't feel like it.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Impute means I'm personally responsible. Propogated means it's passed on but not due to my action. Do you find a difference? I do. There is personal sin. Adam's sin is not my sin. HE ate, not me.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

It is for you to say and know. Don't you know? I've heard you may not even be Christian. You seem to be.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Im not dependant on the state. No one should be who can avoid it. Why would the rules not be needed in the kingdom? What if I drive through your fence one day? What would you do? Are You living in the Kingdom?

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

That's very nice of you RO. And, just for the record, I finished all my schooling many years ago and am not into taking tests, which is what you write sounds like. I've taught the Christian faith and have used questions to make persons think. This is a good method. However, when there are too...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Anything is possible. YOU are not reading from the same book I am. I'm using the bible. You're using the Tanakh and accompanying Jewish rules that are taught to this day by Rabbis. Sin is not imputed. We are each responsible for our own sin. How could I be responsible for my father's sin...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

You yourself have stated a change... Can one give a certificate of divorce for burning toast or not??? I say NOT. So something WAS changed and Jesus had to change it back to the original intent. And yes, I confess. Man helped God along a bit in all those rules that had to be kept. Once God...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

FUNNY!!! First of all, how do you know I've always taken persons to court? Second of all, as I said, between Christians we should try to resolve our differences,,,not everyone is Christian and some suits are legitimate. If two are living in the Kingdom of God here, then they should follow those...
