I thought you always told me that the law does NOT serve and that we are NOT under the law... Have you changed your mind?

@Stranger Here: Basically, Calvinism is known by an acronym: T.U.L.I.P. Total Depravity (also known as Total Inability and Original Sin) Unconditional Election Limited Atonement (also known as Particular Atonement) Irresistible Grace Perseverance of the Saints (also known as Once Saved...

Stranger, You SHOULD be interested. You're basing doctrine on Word Order for goodness sake. This is NOT how it's done. "He who is of God" means a person who believes in God and is following God. If you believe that we were "of God" to put it your way, from the beginning of time means that God...

How do you come to this conclusion? Murder involves another person. So maybe we should crack down on smokers, liquor, soft drugs. I mean, liquor kills people every year with traffic accidents. So how come we're still drinking liquor? Did Prohibition work? Prostitution is illegal now. So...

The problem you bring up is a very serious problem. These girls are held AGAINST their will. As far as I'm concerned the law should be after these persons who are trafiking in HUMAN BEINGS. I'd rather see all effort go towards this then to do the EASY thing and keep after those who are...

I hope you do. We can all use some prayer.

@Job I just want to make sure that from my posts you don't think I approve of the practice. Some may -- I can't help it. I tried to be clear.

Sure. What else? You stay in your spiritual atmosphere and continue coming up with weird concepts. I'll be praying for you and others.

The above is why I like to use the term Sin Nature and not flesh. Flesh could be mis-understood so many ways if one is not learning in a proper atmosphere.

Well j In Hebrews 2:14 Jesus taking on flesh and blood means that He became HUMAN like us. We're made up of bones, flesh and blood. In this case it does NOT mean flesh as meaning our carnal, sinful nature. Take it or leave it. Look it up. Do as you will. You say flesh is sin when it does...

Well, it isn't me who wants to make Jesus into God. It just kind of happened that way according to what the Father wanted. I'm not so important...! I know you meant YOU generally. JK. I know He was tempted. When He went into the desert for 40 days and prayed and fasted and was visited by...

You know how everyone likes CS Lewis? Catholic and Protestant? Well, Scott Hahn is the same. He teaches theology. He used to be protestant and became Catholic. I can understand why too....... Anyway, yes, EVERYONE should read Scott Hahn. He only wrote one book I didn't like. It was about...

Sure. I don't want to. I like to listen to everyone. Think about it and then reply with some scripture (most times). Luckily for me, I've been taught by two denominational churches. I hear this is not very spiritual, but I trust what I've been taught..it's so pure and easy. Some like to make...

Thanks K I got it and read it. It did help.

Does flesh and blood mean sin? Could flesh mean the skin we're covered with? Or are you just always thinking about sin? See my posts no. 623, and 631. There is nothing further to add.

All of the above is true, whether it's legal or not. What matters is the goings on, not whether or not they're legal. If we were all moral persons, it would not exist.

I see. Ok. If that's what you want to believe. I do wonder where you learned how to exegete a verse, but no matter. John 10:26 Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees. Jesus told them that they don't believe Him. Jesus' actions proved that He was from God Father, which gave Jesus the authority...

You know your truth. That's the only truth you'll listen to. Not everyone can bear the truth. Here's the thing about love. I can love a person even though I may not like them. Love is a heavenly thing Like is a human thing You tell me I'm physical and not spiritual, so how could I possibly love...

Yeah. Today, if you hear His voice...

What wall? The wall you put up? What have you said that I don't already know? What do you think YOU know that I don't know? Are YOU focusing on the physical? Do you think I am? WHAT makes you think that? WHY are you writing to me? You think we're under one accord? Or is that just what you would...
