    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

I already went back to Post #345. You don't explain why you disagree with the Protestant scholars.

    When did the RCC begin

Where? Certainly NOT in the Catholic Church. Would you care to elaborate?

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

In John 3:5, Jesus tells Nicodemus that we must be born again of WATER and Spirit to enter Heaven. TWO chapters earlier, we read about the Baptism of Jesus - and what do we see?? Spirit and WATER - you know - the wet kind . . . AFTER Jesus ;leaves Nicodemus, where does He go?? He goes...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Amen. NOTHING and NOBODY can separate me from God. The ONLY one who can do that is MYSELF . . . 1 Cor. 9:27 "I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." Paul is saying that he wrestles with his own fleshly desires so that he might not...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

First of all - there are no "Titles" in Scripture regarding paragraphs. this was inserted by whomever worked on that particular translation. You wouldn't even have Chapter and Verse, had it not been inserted by the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages, let alone titles . . . As to the verses...

    When did the RCC begin

Which is EXACTLY what His mother did. The woman was thinking how wonderful it was to be His mother according to the FLESH. Jesus corrected her by stating that His mother was doing the WILL of the Father.

    When did the RCC begin

First of all - you mock Christ's Church because you don't understand what it is. Secondly - your claim that she "came to belief" at Pentecost would be comical, if not so Scripturally-ignorant. Mary know who Jesus was before the MAN Jesus did because she was told by the Angel who He was. She...

    When did the RCC begin

Ummmm, first of all - Anti-Catholicism was alive and well LONG before I joined this forum. I visited here MANY times before joining. Secondly - I've never "spawned" a thread here. Not ONE single thread here was started by me. My SOLE mission here has been to debunk and dispel hateful myths...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

Ummmmm, first of al - the is zero difference between "Catholic" and "Christian". It's one and the SAME. What YOU are trying to say is Catholic or "Protestant." Anyway - you went on this angry rant simply because I asked you to elaborate on a stupid remark you made. If you don't want me to ask...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

It's a shame that Scripture doesn't support you OR your false doctrine . . .
  11. BreadOfLife

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

You were born again at Baptism. If you fell away before you were in your 50's - that is YOUR fault. Don't blames the Church because YOU fell away.

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

And nobody said that Jesus HAD to be be born of a sinless woman. That's just the way God willed it. The Ark of the Covenant carried symbols of God's power and was made of earthly materials - and was purified and blessed throughout. The Ark of the NEW Covenant carried GOD Himself and was made...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

And, as I stated earlier - a flat denial is NOT a valid debating point. It's no better than the spoiled child who covers his ears and shuts his eyes rather than reason . . .

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

YOU said: "Hey Breadman, I heard the real reason for the split between east and west was that east called Saint Nicholas the real Santa Claus but the pope claimed his own Saint Nicholas as the real Santa Claus." This is an asinine claim because we honor the SAME St. Nicholas.

    Are you catholic?

I never said anything about Hell. I simply said that your posts speaks volumes, psychologically-speaking. Judging by your posts on this thread - it sounds like you have some serious issues that may require intense therapy.

    Are you catholic?

I never called you anything. I simply said that it was nonsense.

    When did the RCC begin

And this is a textbook example of a person who doesn't have a CLUE as to what Christ's Church is. Allow me to educate you from Scripture . . . - Jesus established ONE Church (Matt. 16:16-19). He prayed fervently that this Church remain ONE - as He and the Father are ONE (John 17:20-23). There...
  18. BreadOfLife

    Are you catholic?

This is complete nonsense. First of all - MOST Catholic parishes don't even have schools. The reason for the envelopes is for budgeting and taxation purposes. I was a counter for several years in my parish, so I know firsthand. I'm also on that Pastoral Advisory Committee.
  19. BreadOfLife

    Are you catholic?

    Yup . . . VOLUMES . . .
  20. BreadOfLife

    Are you catholic?

Psychologically-speaking - this post speaks VOLUMES about a lot more than just a kid who was stealing dimes . . .
