For those who think Christ is not God.

They are the only questions worth answering in this thread! I think the importance of Jesus NOT being God cannot be over-stated from a theological perspective. You don' think its worthy to even answer the theological importance of Jesus being God! Good grief sister.

Then what is the theological significance of violating the 1C, of holding that Jesus is God? Meaning what, salvation independent of Jesus? Then why did he have to die on the cross?

Stubborn, foolish, pride? I can lead a horse to water … but can’t make you answer the many questions I’ve posed. Probably best to add you to my ignore list.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I think Paul meant out of turn. Being invited to speak is another matter.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I’ve reached the same conclusion for different reasons. For all the bashing of the male ego, as a rule, women do not handle authority well because it exposes the god complex women have, starting with Eve. The female ego is so gigantic, we cannot even acknowledge it’s existence. Add authority...

For those who think Christ is not God.

I believe you are reading your doctrine into verses but no verse explicitly says something like if you don’t believe Jesus is God you cannot be saved. A rational person would answer A or B in response. A. Cite the verse that explicitly states the trinity doctrine. B. Humbly admit there is no...

God's Personal Name & New World Translation

This is NOT what Ex 3:15 says.

Proof to you? Truth is not subjective. We all know why you cannot cite the verse that says you have to believe Jesus is God to be saved; it does not exist.

Of course not! The son is not the Father. That is why Jesus said he has a God, who is the one true God. Who are you to contradict Christ? And it’s no attack on the person to observe they ignore verses that destroy their false doctrine. Funny, as you are the one on the attack, calling us...

In your posts, you did not adddress the verses I mentioned. Just ignoring verses is NOT reconcilling. For instance, don't overlook a stronger explicit anti-trinitarian verse than is hard to imagine. For us, there is one God, the Father. 1 Corinthians 8:6.

For those who think Christ is not God.

How do you reconcile your claim that Jesus is God with Jesus’ own explicit statements that he has a God (John 20:17), and Jesus’ God is the only true God (John 17:3) and in John 8:54 ‘If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing?’ Being one with another is an expression used today to mean we are...

God's Personal Name & New World Translation

Taken, I have no idea what you are talking about. What other personal name does Joe Biden have? It is so sad the desperate attempts to circumvent the simple truth. Why are you down playing Jevovah saying this is his name forever (and he does not say that about any of his 'several' other names?)...

For those who think Christ is not God.

Yea, when I drop my toast butter side down, I am not actually stating it is feces but an exclamatory statement in hte heat of the moment. That such text is the best you got shows how weak Scriptural support is for your doctrine. Just admit that there is no trinitarian verse like The nature of...

Say you. But again, Not an answer to my question. Where is the verse that makes believing the trinity, which violates the 1C, a condition of salvation?

Not an answer to my question. Why can’t you answer the question? It’s all I need to be convinced?

I nominate this post for the Best Attempt At Rationalization of the Year! ‘For us, there is one God, the Father.’ Jesus said he had a God (the Father) and his God is the only God. What do these verse unambiguously proclaim? Or do you find them too ambiguous to determine?

It always fascinates me how trinitarians deny this refers to 2 Beings or could possibly be referring to 2 Beings; the glory of our great President and VP Harris. This is how people talk today. It’s like they are so desperate to find SOMETHING that if you read into it their doctrine, verses it...

1st, it is not true that the concept is pervasive. Every Epistle identifies solely as the Father alone with God. 2nd, so what if it were pervasive? Where is the verse that makes believing the trinity, which violates the 1C, a condition of salvation?

Self-righteous. Pompous hypocrisy. Desperate leaning on your own understanding.

For those who think Christ is not God.

No. You read into verses your doctrine that is not there. 1 Cor 11:3 and many other verses juxtapose God with Jesus. If what you are saying were true, this would never be the case. By contrast, the Father is always linked to God in Scripture. There is no verse that says God is the head of the...
