Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

For the wages (plural) of sin is death. Its not just one Everyone has sin, Unless that sin is washed by the blood.

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

the penalty of sin is death If I lie, My penalty is death, If I commit adulty, the penalty of that sin is death If I know to do right, yet do not do it, the penalty of that sin is death. To deny you have multiple death penalties against you is to deny you have sin, who said anything about...

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

The people brought the harlot to Jesus. According to the law she was to be STONED. Jesus said let he who has no sin cast the first stone. They all walked away. Because unlike some people. they admit they are not innocent.

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

the penalty of sin is death. How many death penalties do you have against you since birth? I think if you stop to think. You will realise why people fall on their face in the site of even an angel..

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

Actually he is correct. Under the law the adulterer and adulteress were to be stoned. Under the new. That is no longer true, thats why when they brought the harlot to Jesus he said let he who has no sin cast the first stone

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

NO ONE CAN KEEP THE LAW. so in fact, the thread is not true. It does not matter if you try to keep it by faith, inwardly or outwardly. We are still sinning and falling short. This is non responsive. Moses said cursed is the one who does not obey every word. Paul repeated those words in...

Under the Law is a curse, not Doing the Law

The curse from the law comes from failing to keep it period. When the law Was given. Moses claimed, Cursed is the one who does not keep every word. It requires perfection. which means no one has met the standard (all have sinned and fall short) thus everyone is cursed. The was was not given...

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

Dude, you totally misrepresent what I am saying. My point was Jesus did not tell peter to destroy his sword or get rid of it. He told him to PUT IT BACK. People who use this to try to defend disarming people ARE taking it out of context.Jesus did not tell him to stop arraying/ Peter open...

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

I am delusional? Peter OPEN CARRIED A SWORD Jesus told him to PUT IT BACK where he got it Using this to try to prove that God does not support open or concealed carry of a weapon is delusional.

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

Thats a pipe dream my friend Criminals. and those that want to harm others will get weapons. if they have to make them You can't stop them what you want is to stop the people from being a deterent to them, and proctecting others.

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

Thank you, You just proved my point. He did not say get rid of it. He said put it back in its place (at his side) Taking up a sword is offensive. Jesus never told peter he could not use it as a defensive tool.
  12. Eternally Grateful

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

Your whole argument is DESTROYED by the fact 1. Peter OPEN carried a sword and Jesus did not tell them to stop carrying 2. Jesus did not tell Peter to stop carrying a sword. 3. Jesus response was that What they were doing was in Gods will. Jesus told them over and over he would be arrested and...

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

don't forget, He ignored James word about confessing our sins to one another.. James failed to get the message that we would not have sins to confess..

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

John tells us all we need to know about him then.. He thinks he is better than John himself.

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

Dude, You ave multiplied times failed to respond to what the term justified means. You have failed to respond to where Jesus took the curse of the law in our place. You have failed to respond to John telling us to confess our sins to God. And James telling us to confess our sins to one...

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

No He took the penalty of sin away Justification is a legal term, It means to be found righteous, or innocent of the crime you are charged with. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law. The penalty of sin was death. God took that and nailed it to the cross. You still have the ability to...

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

Christ took the penalty of sin away. That is why we are said to be JUSTIFIED. While he took the power of sin away. He did not remove the ability. If he removed the ability. Once again, James telling us to confess our sins to one another. And john telling us to confess (state) them to God...

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

Keep believing this my friend. It just proves you have no understanding of the greek vs english language. One does not have to be TRAINED to see obvious differences.. But one can remain IGNORANT, while judging others of being in error. And remain in ignorance (usually out of fear)

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

I am not really worried about what people say. I just go by what I experience. I know many people who prefer the KJV only. And they have sound doctrine. And are my brother and or sister. Non of them believe in this sinless perfection nonsense either by the way

    1st problem with O.S.A.S.

I am amazed he speaks of sinless perfection. Yet he is against those who are truly saved and are now sinless perfect are truly saved forever. Talk about a contradiction
