For those who actually care to study. In John 15: 2, the word "taketh away" in the greek is airea, which literally means to lift up, to raise from the ground, to raise upwards, to elevate. etc etc. It is a term that people in Jesus day would readily associate with taking care of fruit bearing...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Um no they do not. They do not teach one is saved eternally, then works follow They teach one is sort of saved initially. But must keep working to ensure that salvation is completed. We are justified only by the work of Christ on the cross. And the work of the spirit in our lives to draw us to...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

The bible teaches those born again will never die and have eternal life You teach conditional life The bible teaches that it is either grace or works. It is not, nor it is ever, both. In fact, it says one cancels out another You can post these long winded posts all you want. You can label...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Yet from creation it is the most widespread gospel on earth. Its sad after thousands of years. we are so weak and gullible we still fall for the same trap of legalism and pride.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

The word inittially is not in those passaged In eph 2. he says we HAVE BEEN SAVED In romans 4. he speaks of Abraham being saved by faith period not by works. In romans 11 destroys your argument, It is either by grace, or it is by works, It can NEVER be of both Titus 3. again. We have been...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

Not sure I would judge someone who wanted to get ink. I would not personally do it. But to judge?? I have sin, so I can;t cast the first stone to me there is more important issues to work out than if someone gets a ink or not

Yet you label me and T-Bass. You are being dishonest my friend. Both of you teach our essential salvation is accomplished by works. Just because you add the word initially (not found in scripture by the way) does not mean you teach different. There are three gospels found in the world 1...

Actually T,Bass is really no different than you. You both espouse a works based salvation. I just have to laugh when to legalists attack each other. Its almost like watching a jew and a muslim fight, Both espouse that the ones in heaven will be the ones who do works, And not based on the grace...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

this is kinda funny, He is no more of a belief alone proponent than a pharisee was.. and PS. Holy living is a result of salvation. Not how one is saved. You can never be saved by how good you are. because you will never meet Gods demand.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

You cant be a teacher of righteousness, when you can’t acknowledge your own sin. And you can’t be a teacher of righteousness when you continually misrepresent what the word says and what others say. And get mad when they call you out on it. What you turn out to be is nothing more than a...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Good day sir. you are knowingly and willingly trying to deflect from what we were actually talking about . You have no desire to discuss anything. Scripture states clearly. if we are under law. we are not under grace. period. That means that there is NO WAY possible to merit salvation...
