ONE Church, huh? Interesting . . . At the Last Supper - Jesus prayed fervently that HIS Church remain ONE - as He and the Father are ONE (John 17:20-23). Of the tens of thousands of disjointed and perpetually-splintering splintered factions - the teachings are as different as night and day . ...

Your problem is that you think it either the Church or Christ. HE doesn't see it that way because HE equates His Church with Himself (Acts 9:4-5). The Catholic Church had it's beginning with Jesus and His Apostles. Matt. 16:18 speaks of only ONE Rock whop would be the earthly head of Christ's...

I couldn't agree with you more. So, why DO you??

    Why water into wine?

If you asked me something that I didn't answer, please post it again and I will answer it. Then, you can answer MY question that you ignored.

Fair enough. Actually - the Catholic Church is not a "denomination" - but the original Tree from which Protestantism splintered. Lutherans and Calvinists and Wesleyans and Millerites are precisely the types of factions what Paul was warning against (1 Cor. 1:10-17).

WRONG. In post #1603, I laid out a few examples of your dissident beliefs and basic ignorance of the Catholic faith: Post # 1082: YOU posted: As far as Vatican I is concerned - it is very likely that I would have never joined the Catholic Church before 1965 because I believe the church placed...

    Why water into wine?

Ummmmm, you never asked one. I have answered EVERY question thrown at me by every one of you anti-Catholics. Unfortunately, I seem to have stumped all of you guys because you never seem to be able to answer them . . .

Then explain what you mean by "labels". In post #1975, you gave a generic definition of the word - but not in the context that you used it. Please explain . . .

And you lose this argument because you cannot point to the beginning of the Catholic Church. That's where you ALL lose. If you're going to make a claim about the Catholic Church being a "splinter" - then you have to give me dates and documented proof. You see - I can DO that with your...

Hmmmm . . . . You never answered ANY of the questions I asked based on your previous post. Namely: 1. That the Catholic Church was established by Rome and not Jesus and the Apostles 2. Constantine was the first Catholic Pontiff. 3. Constantine "melded" paganism with Christianity. NOWHERE, in...

And ALL of this is false. You would have known this, had to bothered to R*E*A*D the posts. I have stated - ad nauseam - that I don't care if somebody simply "disagrees" with or "questions" Catholic teaching. That is an opportunity for dialogue. However - that's NOT what goes on here. What...

Labels?? The Protestant Revolt and its aftermath is where we get "labels" of Christian sects - to the tune of almost 50,000. The Catholic Church is the original Tree from which Protestantism splintered. This is not something that is up for debate - it's a fact of history. The only "label" we...

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

I didn't say that YOU said it. I said that you perverted it. As usual - your feeble attempts at being philosophical are always muddled and confused . . .

As Cardinal John Henry Newman said after coming to the fullness of truth, "To be deep in history is to cease being Protestant."

I already answered this in my last post when I said the following: "There are a lot of people who come here seeking the truth and they have a right not to have to put up with myths and lies about the Catholic Church - or ANY other sect of Christianity." I've spoken to HUNDREDS people over the...

Instead of coming after me for calling people out for lying about the Catholic Church - why aren't you asking yourself what is motivating these people to lie in the first place?? Guilty people tend to lash out at the person who caught them instead of looking at themselves . . .

    Catholics

As I have said over and over again - I'm not here to argue. I'm not even here to defend, really. I am here to expose people who tells lies and fairy tales about what the Catholic Church teaches. There are a lot of people who come here seeking the truth and they have a right not to have to put...
