I am sorry my friend, but I do not understand your words or your question at least not in the way you want them to be understood. Definitions that men have which I also had for they were there when I came to God. But... over the many years I have been reading the scriptures and talking to God...

Being "in the Name" is how we avoid the Nehushtan thing.

I responded to something similar to this a couple of months ago so I used the text of that response for this one, but with some changes. To me "dwelling in His presence" is what Jesus called being "in my name" or what we might call being "in His name". "For where two or three are gathered...

I am very glad to hear that you are comfortable with where you are and understand how things work. Of course I learned my beginnings beyond Catholicism with Pentecostals so that may put us at odds on some things, but God understands all things, doesn't He?

Thanks for this clarification. On some things my mind does OK but definitely not on others. I still don't understand exactly how this buddy connection is supposed to work. In the physical secular world which I never knew well I am very dependent upon my wife. Without her without a doubt I would...

I am reminded on an illiterate follower of Christ I met once who loved the Lord sincerely but was unable to read the Bible in his own language. Do you lean too much on the power of the brain to understand the things of God?The brain is one of those excellent gifts gave to us, but depending too...

You told me once on the public forum it was you, but I guess I never really understood how this 'buddy' thing worked. I believe I sent one message but I am really uncertain. Sorry to be such a poor buddy to you. May God richly bless you anyway. Thank you and everyone for the prayers. We all...

When I was very young and the only TV programming [no Internet at all in those days] was in black and white received via an antenna on the roof there was a breakfast cereal commercial that included the words: "I love my Maypo". Your image of the cereal box has the word, "Maypo" on it and brought...

@CoreIssue I would guess that we are finished here then based on your post #73. May God richly bless you as you walk with Him! Give God the glory!

Must I know all of the detailed Greek or Hebrew or Aramaic words to be properly led by the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit or Holy Breath of God? I was simply quoting the Bible I read. You also should not jump to conclusions. I am not a student of the original languages, but I have not always simply...

This verse tells us what we get when we study even the Bible for the wrong purpose or n the wrong spirit: "And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh."Ecc 12:12 This following verse tells we need to study...

Could this be this a word problem in math? Once, many years ago now, my pastor at the time said that we [speaking of the group of people or denomination to which he was a part] probably already knew probably better than 95% of all that people needed to know about God and the things of God. I...

What background is needed other than God's calling and a regular surrender to the Holy Ghost? Will not the Holy Ghost lead us into truth if we are willing to follow? Will we not be led first into milk and there to meat if we are obedient? "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the...

What I saying is that this is the way it is. People may or may not read a long post. I do not read most of them for my own reasons regarding time as well as interest and simply following the lead of the Holy Spirit. 0 I look to see the author is. Some I will not read simply because of my...

But she is right in spite of your experience. It is very rare for me to open a link like that. It is not a only a matter of disinterest, but also of time and of priority. For example do we have the time to search for and study the doctrine of the 40,000 denominations to determine which ones are...

. This is foolishness my friend, the foolishness of foolish men who apparently just had to have what they could consider an unquestionable absolute. Man cannot comprehend such an absolute but he insists on having his way. To properly mark them first you must know who they are. Whose doctrine is...

When it is consumed and quickened [brought to Life] in a person by the Holy Spirit then those dead words have authority. How much Life did Jesus have in him when he was dead on the cross and at any time before he resurrected from the dead?

Why would one want to be a member of historic Christendom rather than historic Judaism? Is not Judaism older? Is older automatically better? There were a number of sects based on the OT scriptures when Jesus walked planet Earth about 2000 years ago. To which of them did he belong? Consider...

Who said that I did not? We complain a lot about the Catholics, but we have never been able to shed all of the baggage brought with us... Growth is what is needed not more jumping on the old band wagons. We need to make use of the teachers and other ministers of God until... "Till we all come...

I don't speak for all of those. I can only work to fix my own place and pray for others. You pick one group and presume they speak better than the others. I pick only God. When I am led by Him I will recognize His ministers who are speaking truth... when they are speaking truth. Remember the...
