    Paul's Gospel

to the There is only one gospel. there is only ones means to salvation. The only difference for the NT is that we know WHAT is the means of our salvation. (the mystery paul spoke of) It has always been of grace through faith. Even Abraham was saved by faith (rom 4) not works

    Paul's Gospel

Can you explain this. The born again need a gospel? The gospel is needed to be born again. No gospel ever had the law in it. The Law was not good news, it was bad news, It cursed everyone who did not confirm and obey every letter. Only Christ met that standard. So by the law came a curse...

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

Final step? Its the first step. We have to learn to love as Christ loved us. Not superficially. Thew final step in sanctification would be agape love in every area of our life and to every person. And total unselfishness. Which is our goal. But we would be perfect if this could happen. It...

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

can you explain? how would this resolve the issue of a different gospel? Its not about who is faithful. It is what is our faith in for salvation.

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

if I may, not to be rude. but these two sides teach different gospels. While yes. there are many doctrinal differences. The salvation issue comes first and foremost. And because of this, they can never truly come together.

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

we also have to remember, It is God who is lifting us, drawing us to him, He is pulling us up the mountain to reach the peak (the point of repentance and true saving faith where we are given eternal life) He will not however. force us up the mountain, We have the ability up until we get there...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

I go back to what I said before. We can't enter the position of Grace, We must be carried to that position. It is not of our power. so that example as for as positional holiness goes does not fit. In order for it to fit. we would have to be able to walk to that position of our own power...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

ok my friend. You long posts are not helpful. The prodigal son was still the son, He still had his fathers blood. He was still a child of the father. He lost his fathers blessings. He did not lose his sonship. A person who is born again, are made alive because of Christ. Not because they...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Um yes it does. Because not a person here can live up to Gods standard So we can be saved, lose salvation, and be resaved and lose it. be resaved.. How many timnes can this happen? John says a child of God can not do that. and whoever does has NEVER seen or known God. Your argument is with...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Paul is not wrong Works are a BYPRODUCT of faith. Not a requirement. Our work is produced BECAUSE we trust God to do what he wants us to do. not knowing the outcome of those works. Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for.. You want to have faith in things you can see. Thais not faith my...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

once again. It is where their true faith lied. Its like a muslim, who says they converted to Christianity. But the muslim faith keeps hitting them, and saying where you are going is wrong. You need to come back. Because you had it right the first time. And you return. Because your full...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Well said.. There is a difference between being fully persuaded unto repentance from God (true saving faith), and "I think this might be true so I will try it out (mere belief) or I believe Jesus lived and he died on the cross, But not being fully persuaded unto repentance (even demons believe)

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

No they do not. Otherwise they would teach salvation by works and the worthiness of the sinner, Not the worthiness of Christ

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

No person who truly reads the NT would think they could save themselves. Because the scripture refutes it.

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Amen. There is no more condemnation, Period. The people of Christ walk in him. That is a characteristic, not a requirement. A dog returns to his vomit. A characteristic would be a dog who was changed into a prince. The prince does not return to his vomit. because he is no longer a dog...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Yes, they had fallen from Grace Grace was offered to them, They had it in their hands, But instead of receiving it, acting on it, and making it their own, they rejected it and returned to their true love. the law. Its like climbing a mountain and right before you get to the peak. you fall.

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Why do you excuse your sin while judging others? Shame on you. We should be giving our eternity to Christ not pumping our chest in false humility

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Because that is where their true faith lived. It was never in Christ. It was in the law. People try knew things all the time, but they always return to that they truly believe in Like a dog they return to their vomit the good book says. Because they were always dogs. They were never changed

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

He can a person move AWAY from positional holiness, When they could never walk toward positional holiness. Its all of Christ. Remember the letter to the corinthian church. Where paul names a list of sins and said these people would not make it. And he gave them the status, “And such WERE some...
