Doh! I look forward to the Appeal to duality for the trinitarians to explain that! He was a servant of himself? He only took the form of a servant?

I am not JW. Christ is the Messiah which means Anointed, Anointed by God. God does the Anointing. The man Jesus was acted upon by God in the Anointing. The Anointed is the means by which God establishes a holy relationship with his Creation. The Anointed is the Liberating King, the Savior of...

Certainly this is a hijacking post. It is silly that Jesus conceived himself, sent himself, told himself what to say, asked himself to take the cup, only to refuse his request of himself to take the cup from himself. The mental gymnastics trinitarians must do to make sense of all that in their...

Can you imagine how boring the world would be if everyone agreed about everything? :D I think @Hidden In Him referenced this is recognizing the CEV is a 'paraphrase' translation.* Point is, it is not wise to only fear one of many things that can negatively alter your future state. * Not to...

Nope. It is a fact that Jesus died. It is also understood that God is eternal, never changing. Death is a major change. Therefore, one who changes is not eternal and not God. Do you grasp the difference between a logical conclusion and an "opinion?" That there are other facts about Jesus does...

I reject, that is I cannot get my head around you making up stuff from whole cloth.

I don't know what the JW position is on this verse.

Do you grasp what irrelevant means? The relevant story is Jesus died and that is how you know he is not God.

Thank you. FYI, anticipating your question, I already answered it. IMO, this common theme in Scripture, for Person A to do things through Person B trips up trinitarians. This is because they impose their doctrine unto unitarian text. Let me provide a basis of comparison; who spoke to Moses in...

The passage refers to Christ alone.

It’s not my interpretation. It is explicitly what the translation I prefer states.

I’ll bite. 1st, it’s sad that trinitarians cannot help themselves to hijack the thread. The childishness is akin to attempting to yell over someone as a means to prevent them from saying what you don’t them to say. 2nd, let me use my preferred translation to answer your question. Colossians...

Only in the same way as saying 1 is the same as 3.

I think you've mentioned this issue before and are convicted by it. This idea of being convicted by the Holy Spirit pivots what is right or wrong, prohibited, required or allowed. A friend talked about the perils of drinking alcohol. Other friends said he is convicted by the Holy Spirit when he...

This is not an argument. You asked for an argument. There it is. What is your rebuttal? And also, why do you want to argue the point?

But there sure is an overcount of COVID related deaths.

Not this line of BS again! I don't believe you ever stated your purpose for posting in this thread. Can you acknowledge the pressure against Free Speech; that people's livelihood and lives have been threatened over all this? There is tons of evidence.

Repent & wear head covering so as to stop feeling guilty.

I already did tell you WHAT. (You immediately changed the subject to HOW) You are not the only one who can ask questions, right?

But you are a trinitarian in the non-creedal sense, yes?
