It's absolutely true. Everything Jesus said is true because He IS truth itself (John 14:6). His Church is the pillar and foundation of that truth (1 Tim. 3:15) - NOT the individual . . .

The Trinity has been taught for 2000 years, my historically-bankrupt friend. Have you ever cracked open a history book?? It's on the shelf - right next to your dusty, untouched Bible. MOST other beliefs about the nature of God were condemned as heresies LONG before the Protestant Revolt - and...

Actually - any attempt to denigrate or deny the Trinity is heresy. The Early Church was UNANIMOUS in its teaching on the Trinity. Those who taught differently were condemned as heretics.

Actually - the Trinity is a core belief of Christianity. By definition - you cannot be a Christian without belief in the Trinity.

Can you explain to me how the post you just responded to is "name-calling"?? Why do you lie so much?? Trouble at home??

The nature of God (i.e., the Trinity) IS a doctrine. What are you talking about??
  11. BreadOfLife

    Catholics

What are you talking about?? Why are you misrepresenting me?? I didn't post that gobbledygook. Typical anti-Catholic nonsense . . .

Hey - if you don't want to tell me who the "Who" is that you're referring to - you've lost the argument. Your silence speaks VOLUMES . . .

I know - but he's doing my job for me. He digs himself deeper and deeper every time he responds. Exposing lies is why I'm here.
  14. BreadOfLife

    Catholics

Humor me and just tell me. If you actually have a point - it will bolster your case. If you can't tell me who the "Who" is - then you're just blowing more of your ignorant hot wind . . .

Nothing but faith will get the sick healed ,dead raised. Nothing.

That's what happens when you try to absolutize every verse in a literalistic manner. You come up with all sorts of wacky things. Laying on of hands ALWAYS includes prayer - when you understand the Scriptures in context . . .

Since you completely dodged the question - I'll ask it again: Who asks inanimate objects to speak on their behalf??

I don't have any "handlers." YOU just don't understand the verses.` Translation: "Woops - I got caught with my foot in my mouth again. I should stop now."

The Deception of the Teaching of the Trinity

The Trinity, as Shown in Scripture Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let US make mankind in OUR image, in OUR likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Matt...

So, you think that the nature of God is not an important doctrine?? That explains a LOT . . . Just because YOU don't care about the truth doesn't mean others feel the same. Oh, uhhhh . . . "LOL."
  20. BreadOfLife

The doctrine that God is a is both Scriptural - and will damn a person who refuses to believe this. Virtually every heresy begins with the misconception of the nature of God.
