Give God the glory for His truth!

@soul man Even if we really did know it, that would not mean that we would ever see or experience it. But, I could be wrong about this too.

Seemingly you have a pat set of declarations and responses which have little or no relationship to reality. This is why some people have pets instead of children.

On another thread I compared the attempted homicide by a two year old with the same attempt by a 20 year to get a point across. If you read that thread you understand how well the point was understood or NOT.

You are talking really about the indescribable, unsearchable God as per... "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah...

@VictoryinJesus Consider also the following verses: "And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping...

Right it is. Now is the time. If a person is impatient for tomorrow alone, he has missed the Way. We are already in the abundant Life if we know the Lord Jesus. He came for today. Tomorrow is simply an extra reward if one is doing it right now [today]. "Not that I speak in respect of want: for...

@Trump0101 What I have understood is that we are really in hell now. God can and will rescue us from this hell. He sent His Son down to this hell on our behalf for that purpose. The only rules God has to follow are His own Word. In that Word He has given men choices to make. If they make the...

The physical blood of Jesus was spilled on the cross. That blood was the letter of the law, not the Spirit of Life. The spiritual life-giving Blood of Jesus was poured out on all flesh on that day of Pentecost according to Acts 2. This Blood, the Holy Ghost, is the blood which connects all of...

For each us, if there were no repentance there would still be nothing, in spite of the cross we failed to acknowledge. Also, if after being saved, we look back in longing to our old ways, we become as the pillar of salt that Lot's wife became or the dog who went back to eat his own vomit...

In my experience to this point, this seems to be a reasonable conclusion.

When I did, you said I was not on topic.

I've been interested in the truth for many years. I also frequently do not read lengthy writings, but when I do an effort to friendly discussion would be a charitable response. You simply decided to ignore rather than ask for clarification? Is this supposed to be a one-sided lecture or a...

Are you really so without understanding? I am praying for you.

See my PM...

And the eyes to see require that special eyesalve [Rev 3:18] where would you get them? But should it not such eyes be seeing rather how to to avoid the things opposed to God rather than to any church? But... If your church is really what you say it is, should you not be working as Jesus did...

A two year can be angry and can react in a wrong way. It does not have to be an accidental thing. The child may not realize or appreciate the danger, but this does not mean that the child's intention was not evil. It means that an adult would or should overlook it and try to teach the child to...

@LoverofChrist Welcome to the forum! May God richly bless you as you walk with Him.

Those verses don't cause a problem with what I believe. I disagree with some of what @Godssrvr was saying, but when I took the time to respond to him in detail in post #49, he effectively ignored most of my post. I won't press the issue. Give God the glory!

If the carnal age of a man is important, I just past my 74th birthday. I definitely met God for the first time in my memory when I was 6 years old. But consider what the Apostle Paul wrote about himself: "Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath...
