Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

There is much wisdom in your posts. While I have my opinions on doctrine, my wife as convinced me of the simplicity of Christianity: It’s about relationships, not religion. And by religion, she means doctrinal purity or alignment. I asked this question to theefaith and tramventure. The point...

The KJV is nearly half a millennia old and is one of the worst translations available today. I provided 3 translations that have worship. King David was worshipped. The only problem with this is how totally it destroys trinitarian doctrine.

So, like theefaith, you actually believe there is a doctrinal purity test to gain admission to heaven?

I believe Jesus is the son of God, the Savior of the world, not God incarnate. Unlike atheists, I believe in God.

Where is the reformation in the Bible?

theefaith could not admit that there is no doctrinal purity test to enter heaven. He's a fully indoctrinated into the Roman Catholic "one and only true faith" construct.

Emily, I once thought divine meant heavenly, as in, this cake is divine. Under this concept, angels are divine. However, I've since learned that divine is not a synonym with heavenly but God, which I take as the one and only Father. So, given that "divine" exclusively means the LORD God Adonai...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Great point. Never in the writings of the Apostles do they claim Jesus was God incarnate. Rather, EVERY epistle identifies God as the Father alone. A most inconvenient fact for trinitarians. Rather than accept that their doctrine is a 4th century man-made construct, they resort to tortured...

Whoever translated the word to NOT be worship was mistaken.

Worship is the word. It may not be now used as it meant then but there it is. David was worshipped. This is the word of God. I agree that David (and Jesus) being worshipped does not mean they are God.

Again, Scripture says he was. Not sure why other translations use a synonym in v 16 but there it is. (And it is not the JW translation). Bethsabee bowed herself, and worshipped the king. 1 Kings 1:16 (DRA, JUB, WYC)

It is not either or. Point is, Scripture tells us that God was not the only thing worshipped. This goes against trinitarian rationalization that proof that a man is God is that he was worshipped. Fact is, David was worshipped.
