Obviously, you did not read the link, which specifically states the original verse is not what you claim we all agree on.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Plural is not limited to 3. You are reading into unitarian text your trinitarian doctrine.

Agreed. It's just that the Father is God alone and Jesus is adopted, as we are. See Ephesians 1:5

And we are on with God in John 17:22. Doesn't make us God either, any more than the man Jesus is.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Appeal to Emotion & Force. I am is a common statement used today. I do believe that Jesus is he - the Messiah, for which he was crucified. No where is he claiming to be God, despite Trinitarians desperate project their doctrine onto unitarian text.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

There is absolutely no trinity reference in John 17:5 or anywhere in the entire Bible.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Not a lie. Intent v actual reality of what happened. It's just silly to pretend what Jesus said his intent would be ought to supersede that another Being actually raised him from the dead.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Did Jesus refer to his Father as the one True God or not?

    The Sinless Human

The pernicious lie is to say Jesus was fully human but then list the ways he was inhuman. Either he is a man, with ALL that comes with it, or he is merely in the form of a man. The Bible says we was a man (and not merely in the form of a man) I've always thought the trinitarian deification of...

    The Sinless Human

I heard a sermon once that said Jesus was not perfect. He did not cut every board perfectly square in his work as a carpenter. He has weakness. Got tired. Had to eat, drink water and rest. Perfection is not the standard. The standard is being obedient to God, doing the Will of God. Sinless but...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

Creed states a contradiction. A circle, NOT round.

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

The son died, rendering him NOT eternally existent.

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

Begotton certainly does mean made. Check your favorite lexicon. I've posted the definition numerous times. It has NOTHING to do with woman's birth canals but procreation, which is a form of creation, which is made. The idea that Jesus was birthed by a woman but not made, not created, not...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

Begotten MEANS made. Jesus is called the Christ, which means Messiah, which means Anointed. Jesus is Anointed by God and makes him NOT GOD.

    What is impossible for God?

Lying is a means to an end. If you lie to defeat evil, as when the midwives of Moses time did to thwart the Pharaohs order to kill all Hebrew babies, that’s one thing. If you lie for self aggrandizement and self glory, that is another thing. Let me ask you this; do you think God would have...

    What is impossible for God?

God does not lie to his children. Some are destined for the Lake of Fire and God already knows who they are. Is it too extreme to call them enemies of God? I reject the notion of personal denotations.

    Surrogate Mother Dying

A few years ago on a cold January day about 10F, I called to ask if he was up for company, my wife and I coming over. He said he'd love to but he was going on a 7 mile hike with the local hiking club. Although he looks and talks like mild mannered Clark Kent, he really is Superman. Yes, I am...

    Surrogate Mother Dying

He is rising above his grief. When I first got to his house last night I asked him if he gave his wife any of the recipe I dropped off for them on Sunday. He said yes and solemnly said that is what might have pushed her over the edge. :D Later I talked him into going for a little walk in the...
