I would guess that should or would depend upon one's point of view and where God stands on the issue.

We don't make the determination. God does. For sure people will make determinations on this, but if God is not in them they are likely to be wrong. The secret of course for each of us so that we may know that the way we are going is the right way is to always recognize His voice. "O LORD, I...

I count no one out. If someone is out, it because that was the way he chose. God knows who did and who did not. How would I know if He did not tell me? He has not.

Consider then this: If a person can completely overcome all of his world while he still has time left in his veil of flesh... if he can...? Jesus did, for I believe he overcame the last obstacle in the Garden of Gethsemene rather than on Calvary. When a person has overcome completely before...

There is darkness all of around us, but if there is Light it is in ourselves or in the people we know and see who have really met the Master and are eating of His flesh and His blood. Jesus said: "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." John 9:5 Then he also said: "And...

No, I am not your teacher or anyone's unless they have opened their heart and God has given me words for them. As to listening, I do try to listen to whatever God is saying through whatever means He has chosen to speak. Leave it there then in God's hands.

When I was in grade school and high school [1949-1961], even though Pope Pius XII favored more Bible reading by the laity, his policies or directives or suggestions in that direction were not known by the people where I attended mass regularly. We were not forbidden to read the Bible, but it was...

No, my friend, it is not hard unless we make it hard. If we give it to Him it is easy. Your comparisons and analogies are not appropriate. Using Saul as an example is poorly done. Then saying "a misunderstanding of what was promised does not change what was promised". A remarkable statement...

Just so. There is likely a good reason for the existence of such words, but I don't normally use them at all myself. If I am ever involved in the process of such things, I guess I can do it without putting that particular name to it. I can remember when I always needed to have a good dictionary...

No, clear as our eyes are able to see.

Exactly so! People need to continue to pursue truth for the remainder of their natural lives until it is time for someone to shovel dirt onto their faces. We do not stop. We are to be like Jesus! "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can...

Indeed, consider what happened when the three Hebrews thrown into the fire. The soldiers who threw them in died. The Hebrews only had the ropes securing them burned off. [Daniel 3]

I asked you an honest question about Jesus and you failed to answer it. That is OK. It is your prerogative to say yea or nay or no comment. I don't watch or read secular news other than the tid bits people sometime post on Christian forums such as this one. But to be clear: I was not 'making...

It is not one scripture. For me it is the message I have received from the sum total of scripture. For over 40 years I have been reading. Now I read and prayer daily from three Bibles. There is no argument on this that anyone has presented recently that I haven't heard a number of times before...

Thank you, but since I seldom use the words, their meanings will likely be gone from my mind by the next time I have occasion to understand them.

So then we disagree. I believe that I have already said my piece: "Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he...

I was suggesting that some people who believe in OSAS are effectively saying that when they say that they cannot then lose their salvation. They have determined that no matter what they do they will be forever with the Lord. They no longer have a choice. They could not walk away from God if they...

I don't see satan as an entity separate from man, himself. Because I recognize the arguments that people have for the other side of this issue, I usually don't pursue it much. I simply say that man is his own worst enemy. There are other enemies, but so long as I am on the Lord's side, there is...

Why is it that everyone who disagrees with me cannot answer like this? Thank you! Amen! Yes, Judas should tell people something, but they are too often not paying attention. Their minds are already made up. There is another place nagging at me right now, but I can not recall it...

Really? And what do you think of the Jew called Jesus? Did he cause pain?
