The answer: Christ has not delegated this authority. No one. No human being on Earthy has authority to govern the church.

My prayers are with you my brother.

Pure fiction, having nothing to do with Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:15-18 is how to interpret John 1:1. God put his words into the mouth of a person among the Hebrews that God chose so the people will not be so afraid. God selected the man Jesus for this purpose.

Jesus never said that. Odd that trinitarians keep saying that when the big reveal was that he was the Messiah, the Son of God.

No. The 'hypostatic union' is a dualistic rationalization for what is not in Scripture. There is no God the Son. Talk about diagramming a sentence incorrectly! The Son of God is not an equivalent expression to God the Son. The Bible says over and over and over again that there is only one God...

Yes, the sentence does say God created Jesus. God made Jesus without sin means God made Jesus, period. Do you consider 'made' to be not a synonym of 'created?'

Proof text that Jesus is not God. The verse you refer to support your position proves Jesus was made by God. Game. Set. Match.

He sure can. This is a God given power Jesus explained after the resurrection.

Untrue. God delegated forgiveness of sins to Jesus, who in turn delegated it to the Apostles.

I quoted Scripture. You are pontificating your opinion.

No Scriptural support whatsoever! What makes Jesus unique is that God selected him to put his words in his mouth as he said he'd do in Deuteronomy 18:15-18, suffering servant, take on all the sins if the world, then be GIVEN all authority by God.

You completely misunderstood what I wrote. You do not even understand what the Good News is.

I know who Jesus is - and who he is not. Jesus is the Son of God, which necessarily makes him NOT God.

Contradiction.

No. Memorial Day is what I said it is.

100%. You simply have to idea what you are talking about. Just because someone is an American Christian does not mean they do not have responsibilities in our political system. This is political. In America, we recognize the God-given right to speak our mind - even accuse. I honestly have no...

I guess you did not see this thread is non-trinitarian.

Completely disagree! The theological importance of Jesus NOT being God cannot be overstated. That Jesus is NOT 'them' (God) but 'us' (man) is proof that our inheritance is real. If God were to 'take the form' of a man to appear to die on a cross, then his 'resurrection' would not be that...

Obviously, trinitarians do not realize 3 is not 1. Numbers tells us God is not man. Malachi tells us God never changes. Fully man is a type of man that God is not.
