But of whom was Apostle Paul writing here? "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" Eph 4:11-12 You posted earlier on this...

Also continuing to pray!

Yes, and then we are in agreement on that.

Jesus is the truth [John 14:]. If He is God, then is he not by definition not a lie? With men on the other hand...?

Would you agree that all churches have some falsehood in them?

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27

It is an interesting thought, one which never occurred to me. Thank you for sharing. One problem with it is that when he left Jesus he had been given a specific instruction to divest himself of all material goods and give the proceeds to the poor. After his encounter with Jesus on the road to...

And what reward do we suppose this lady received for giving all that she had? "And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a...

We can cry out. We can weep as Jesus did. We can share the truth that we know, but many have known only bondage and are afraid to step out or they love their lusts and their prideful attractions too much. But some of us have found ourselves here:

A good idea, perhaps, but then again some like mine don't have a website.

Esau had the right of the first born but sold it for a bowl of soup: "And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob." Gen 25:32-33 He still had...

I just looked back at this older post and the Punch & Judy Show really caught my attention. I had never heard of it growing up in California in the 1940's and 1950's. Then in 1957 when I was 13 my school teacher, Mr. Flynn, decided to put on a Punch and Judy Show. Instead of using puppets we...

Just keep on keepin' on in Jesus. People condemn others who are at different levels and are still growing closer to God. It is where a person is today in his heart that will make the difference if today is his last day.

I do hear what you are saying. Even if they were correct on the theological point, they should not be making final judgments against those who disagree with them. But... it is what it is, unfortunately. Jesus was also publicly rebuked and even called a devil. Those without love in their hearts...

I think that @Triumph1300 is on your side in this. Remember when Elijah thought he was the only one? I am as well. Slow down and take a deep breath and say, 'Help me Lord!' You don't have to get all of them to yield to you on this to establish the truth. Jesus is the Truth. Increases are...

"For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud...

What is it that the beggar should be begging for... a horse to ride? Well certainly the means to get from the wrong place to the right place. The wrong place for the children of Israel was in bondage in Egypt, but they started out on the right road [highway of holiness] toward the right place...

Riding the wrong horse while those riding the right ones I guess did not even have any horses at least not of the kind a lot of people might be expecting. I still am enriched with old things forgotten or new things not previously seen each time I read or find a reference in Job. Whether it is...
