    Law Rules—Grace Lives

I agree it is probably there in spirit. But I think you missed my point The law did not tell you it was sin. So in effect it could not condemn you of those sins. nor could it show you ever possible means of breaking it. or how to obey it. All the law had to do was show we have sinned and fall...

    What Need I of Grace?

Vs 9 proves he is talking to believers. And he is speaking of Literal acts of sin. Because he says if we do sin we have an advocate. So thank you for showing further proof that john is talking about personal sin. as for verse ten 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and...

    What Need I of Grace?

What I see is a person who thinks he is infallible and is here to judge people.. And I see if you continue this line of reasoning. You will not have many followers. God resists the proud. You need to heed that warning. I have been redeemed, Saved Justified by the blood of the lamb of God. Yu...

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

I have been redeemed Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For...

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

If you think this that explains alot And your wrong, And like John said, You have decieved yourself if you think you have no sin. Those are johns words not mine If what you say is true, That John is saying literally a child of God can not sin. Then you have made it known that a person can be...

    What Need I of Grace?

Yes. I agree it’s a shame you see it that way
  9. Eternally Grateful

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Nope. That’s says a person can not live I. Sin. Your flaw is the English text. John did not contradict himself. He can not say we are decieved if we think we are sinless then say we can not ever sin.
  10. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

Redemption means purchased I was purchased by Christ on the cross I told you I was redeemed. I’d can not pay for your own redemption

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Lol if you think that is all Sin is your in trouble I proved otherwise so I will Go with that
  12. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

Adoption and redemption means we have been justified not that we were made sinless

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

I think sin is more than just overt actions. That’s why trying to follow laws and thinking we are righteous is not a good idea the overt actions proceed from a deeper Sin.

Nice idea but I can not agree

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Jesus said if we looked at a woman with lust. We have commitd adulty.. That is not found in the law Jesus said if we are angry at our brother. We have commited murder This is not found in the law The bible says if we know to do right yet do not do it. We have sinned, That also is not found...

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

entire sanctification would be called glorification. We will not be sin free until we meet Christ with our new bodies.

    What Need I of Grace?

Yep Yet in rom 7, he spoke of his war with his fallen nature. If Paul still warned with his nature far be it for me to think I am better than paul

    What Need I of Grace?

Then, I suggest you head John 1:8, we cay say we (he included himself) are without sin we are deceived. We need to learn what sin is, Not think because I do not do certain physical sins I am ok..

    What Need I of Grace?

I think John was telling us if we think we are sinless we are decieved Not that we must sin, But the inevitability is that we will. Its our fallen nature. We do not love 24/7 perfectly as Christ did For this reason. When we do fail to love, we have in fact committed sin.. What the issue is, I...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

I think it is the english word that is the issue I respect God.. as Lord and Savior and creator.
