Do Man's Programs too often displace God and His plan?

I certainly do believe that God has a people today. Too many people want to say, my people are the ones. I wish I could say that there were none among those I with whom I attend services that said that, but... I can speak for myself on that and for some others I know. The good thing it that so...

    Pray for my wife

We went in to see the surgeon today. He removed the 22 staples from her back and said that everything looks good. She will continue to wear a back brace for about 4 more weeks and then will start some type of physical therapy. Thanks for the continued prayers.

    Do unitarians go to hell?

I mean to see Him as He is. How is that? When we are like Him will we not know? "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." I John 3:2 My dear friend and...

    Do unitarians go to hell?

And blessings to you my friend! I am not in either place, so I am moving on...with God as He is. So where am I? I am in a growing mode where everyone who has not all the knowledge of God, I believe, should be. He continues to increase withing, while I continue to decrease: "He must increase...

    Do unitarians go to hell?

As of now we cannot even know all of the questions. Must we wait then until this is over in order to grow toward both better and more questions along with answers from our Lord? We are already seeing Jesus in measure or we would not be discussing what we are. By tomorrow, if there is a tomorrow...

    Do unitarians go to hell?

Actually Jesus tells us what truth is here: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 To really know the truth, we must really know Jesus. Just knowing about him or having read the gospels is not necessarily proof that a...

    Different ideas

@Marakorpa I for one do not believe in the hell embraced by most of Christendom. Catholicism got it from who knows where and the Protestants who came out from Catholicism brought it with them. I recently posted on another thread a list of scriptures as why I believe they are wrong. Of course...

    Do unitarians go to hell?

I don't know. I believe that there are several sects of Unitarians with various beliefs. You should ask a Unitarians or look them up on the Internet. Nothing seems to be wrong with your logic, but can we find God's Truth by means of logic alone? If God were to make it so, then how could we...

    Do unitarians go to hell?

I think not! I was a member of the UPC [and similar groups] for about 11 years ending in 1987. Unitarians do not believe that Jesus was or is God. He was only a man, but specially chosen by God. The Oneness Jesus Only people [such as the UPC] believe that there is no Trinity, but that Jesus...

    Witnessing

My wife and I were in the worst of conditions when God witnessed to us through a couple a few years younger than us. The witness had effectively occurred about two years before we were drawn in to the Lord and the result was our conversion. He saved our marriage when He saved our souls in 1976...

Did Jesus die for every one who calls on Him?

All this reminds me of a prophet in scripture who remains unnamed who failed in the end, but he was really a truth prophet of God: 1Ki 13:1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. 1Ki 13:2 And he...

Sometimes a person cannot talk without putting his foot in his mouth, so sometimes it is probably best to remain silent. Give God the glory!

    So, How Mature Are We?

We might be surprised on this point. Some who never posts but simply reads what interests him may be blessed. Our witness should be in every thing that we... and it is. The difficulty is of course that some of the things that we do are NOT good... unless we are already overcomers as Jesus was/is...

    Is Generational curses for today?

@Sword On the OP question, you may have muddied the waters for me, with your answer @bbyrd009 in your post #3: You say "many millions of miles away", but the sins and sinful ways of parents, [even parents who have met Jesus] do have an adverse affect on children living in their homes. God...

    Is Generational curses for today?

Of course, I only tried smoking twice in my life and it never took with me, so maybe my answer would be biased. But, here I go seemingly perhaps as the "devil's" advocate: How does anyone who reads about all of the warnings know that those warnings are valid? If we are of God and do not know...

    Catholics

When I was working for the Social Security Administration in the United States [retired in November of 2000], we had a lot of applicants born in other countries who needed proper proof of age to establish their eligibility. We developed over the years a list of churches whose records were always...

How the religious make a mockery of God

If we need to know and we ask of God, He will answer us. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 7:7-8

Do Man's Programs too often displace God and His plan?

Absolutely it is not dying, but I suspect that too many of those who rode along in the high places were doing just that and when the trials arrived and the high places were reduced those "ride alongers" were by the wayside. Too much programming and not enough getting into the Word and the...
