I am also joining in prayer for those brothers and sisters who are now having to face a very severe persecution. May God keep His hand on them so that they continue to walk with Him!

I will join with you, brother, in being the Lord's bond servant, the Lord's slave. Surely people would not rather be the slaves of sin, or would they? Our society tells us that many apparently would rather be slaves to sin than slaves to God! Indeed, it is hard to serve God easy, but it is...

Is being slain in the spirit, or is speaking in an unknown tongues, or is dancing in the spirit, etc., from God or of God? I have spoken in unknown tongues! I have danced onto the Lord! I have run for the Lord. All of these over many years in me have been of God and in accord with His Spirit...

Complicated to man, yes! This is why we need to go this way.. with the yoke of Jesus!. Welcome to the forum! "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto...

Are there not three heavens corresponding to three levels of the Ark built by Noah and also to the three levels within the tabenacle in the wilderness built by Moses? In the OT under the various covenants the gate to the garden containing the Tree of Life was closed and guarded by Cherubims and...

Yes. if any of us do anything good in the eyes of God, is it not by God [the only one "good"] in us, that we do it? On the other hand, if any of do anything evil, it is certainly not as a result of God's Spirit within us is it? If any of us have sinned since the Lord called us and we answered...

How much is too much for God to ask of us? How much was asked of Jesus? Was it too much to ask? No , and whatever God asks of us it is not too much ! If we are really able to recognise His voice, will we not desire to do whatever He asks and give Him the glory for it? We will! Unless, of...

"But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required : and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48 Those who live in the United States are blessed...

Love is what really is considered the most important thing by God... because it was and is. Jesus He was/is indeed the personification of God's love. As long as any person - no matter what his other beliefs are - cannot get his priorities straight, he will be unable to approach more closely to...

The problem is my friend that none of us here can show you the kind of proof you seek, even though we may have it or a part of it in our hearts. Even Jesus was unable to show the Truth to those who were unable to see. You are apparently a student of the Bible, so then, in spite of your...

Cult is one of those words I hesitate to assign to anyone, because when assigning that label to a group, I would be presuming that I have certain doctrines or beliefs, which in the eyes of God are better or essentially more correct than the ones those in labelled group hold. I hope that all of...

If you read through the Book of Acts carefully you will see many examples of people receiving the Holy Ghost. Some, but not all , of them who receive it also receive a gifts of tongues. This goes alone with this verse: " And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily...

When I first started to post on any Christian Internet forum several years ago, my purpose was definitely agenda oriented. That is to say I primarily hoped to place my own beliefs into the hearts of others. After learning many other sets of beliefs existed among so-called Christians than I had...

That which is perfectly clear to the flesh is not necessarily the Way that it is. If our mental abilities really made such a difference, then those with the higher IQ's and those with the greater incentives to study would be those that were closest to the Lord. This is not how it is. Jesus said...

Unfortunately, the culprit in the creation of divisions or denominations or schism is man. Some, called cults are set aside by the majority because they so different and supposedly far away from the Truth that they are not even Christian or followers of Christ. Such are the ways of men! In the...

The proof is in your heart or, for you, it does not exist. We do not start with knowledge. We start with faith. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Heb 11:6 As we go...

Probably many here have read the "Bible" in various versions and languages deriving from all of these books some of God's Truth. I submit that God's Truth is in all of them, but when a person actually gets a bit or more thn a bit of that Truth it is not because of the person's brain size or IQ...

I guess that as soon as I agree with a Catholic on a single point or post, I am d.a.m.n.e.d according to some! If this is the reward for such agreement then probably every non-Catholic on the forum ihas the same reward. Is this then a good reason to become a Catholic? All I can say is, give...

No, I canot give you such a list, and neither could you! In seeking common ground, I would suggest that you believe Jesus laid down His life freely to pay the price for the sins of men, as do I. I am also quite sure that all the Catholics and all of the protestant believers on this forum...

No, it is not, for anyone who is readng it hopefuly to uncover God's purpose rather than to support their own established beliefs, You did not say the words, "you are a Catholic" but the following words of yours did seem to indicate that was what you thought. If you did not, then I apologise...
